In this verse, Thiru Manikkavasagar
addressing the Lord Athmanatheswarar at Thiruperumthurai/Avudaiyar Kovil and
describes his glories. Thiruperumthurai, a flourished land of rich
paddy fields and beautiful pond filled with enthralling lotus flowers of
various colors and fragrances. Thiru Manikkavasagar informs his
master Lord Athmanatha about the arrival of early hours of
dawn. He expresses his earnest desire to worship him with the
fresh alluring flowers and requests him to wake up.

has the similarity of the compassion of Lord and the blooming lotuses in the
beautiful pond inviting the rush of honey bees has the close resemblances to the
eyes of Lord Athmanathar of Thiruperumthurai. Thiru Manikkavasagar
earnestly requests the Supreme Lord to wake up and provide abundance of
happiness and affluences in the life of his devotees.

dawn. Thiru Manikkavasagar reveals his earnest desire to immerse in
the devotion of Lord who is intricate to understand even by the deities and
Sages, and requests to show the lotus feet of the most compassionate Lord.

In this verse, Thiru Manikkavasagar
describes the presence of devotees of Lord Athmanathar of
Thirupperumthurai, some of the devotees are playing the divine
instrument Veena, some of them are playing Yazhi (a kind of string instrument),
some of the devotees are chanting the Vedic hymns, some of them are reciting
the glories of Lord, some are standing passively before the majestic
Lord with the folded hands, some are shedding tears of joy after witnessing the
glorious form of Lord, some of the devotees are present before him with the
hands held high on their head. Thiru Manikkavasagar earnestly requests
Lord to wake up and bless them.

serene land of lush green paddy field. The scholars admiring Lord
Shiva as the fundamental nature of Panchaboothas (Earth, Water, Wind, Ether and
Fire) and supreme Lord who has no birth
and death, the devotees who have witnessed the celestial form of Lord Shiva,
singing and dancing praising the glories, he is addressing Lord Shiva as King
of Thiruperumthurai . Thiru Manikkavasagar repeatedly says that he
have no such experiences of bliss, forgive and forget the sins and bless. He
