Sri Rama Karnnamritham – Lyrics and meanings 1 – 10

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Sri Rama who is the preceptor of three worlds, he is the Lord of Lords, he resides in the heart of Goddess Sita, his beautiful limbs has the luster of dark clouds, he has most attractive face which has the luster of millions of Chandhra, he is adorned in magnificent gem Kausthbham on the chest, he has most pleasing disposition, he represents Sathvik nature, he is Prabhu who resides on the banks of sacred river Sarayu, he is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he is the provider of super natural powers, I shall always meditate upon Lord Rama who is  illustrious among the Raghu clan.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Sri Raghava who is the dearest son of King Dhasharatha, he is beloved consort of Goddess Sita, he symbolizes precious gem in the clan of Raghu, he has most attractive stature, his beautiful eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is Rama who is the destroyer of wicked demons.  I shall always meditate upon Lord Sri Rama, he is most powerful, he has attractive hair locks, he has attractive smile on face always, he has the complexion of dark clouds, his long beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals are stretched up to ears, he is supreme Lord who is too compassionate, his lotus feet are crimson colored, he is inseparable consort of Goddess Sita/Kshonithanuja who is daughter of Goddess Earth, he is adorned in marvelous earrings and various precious ornaments on the neck.  I shall always prostrate before supreme Lord Raghava, he is Sreerama who is extremely valorous, he is unblemished, he is the delight of Goddess Sita, he is dearest and most promising son of Kausalya, he is Raghupathi who was born in the illustrious clan of Kakustha, he is most beloved to the world, he symbolizes auspiciousness, wealth and he is most celebrated deity, he is Vibhu who eradicates severe sins of the worshiper.  I shall meditate upon supreme Lord Rama who is the Lord of Universe, he is inseparable consort of Goddess Janaki, he is the delight of Janaki, he is the source of progeny, he eradicates excessive desires and lust of the worshiper, he is the Lord of the Universe, he is imperishable, he is surrounded by illustrious Sages like Jabali, he has supreme effulgence, he crushed the pride of son of Jamadhagni, he is extremely compassionate.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Rama and earnestly pray to protect us, he is illustrious among the Raghu, his eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is lion among the Kings, he is the Lord of Raghu clan, he is the destroyer of wicked demon, he is mighty Lord, his most charming face has the luster of full moon, he is attired in majestic silk clothes, adorned in various precious ornaments, armlets etc..Oh! Rama, kindly protects us.  I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord Rama, he is Sreeramachandra who is too kind, he is Raghavendhra who is illustrious among the Kings, he was born in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is full moon to the eyes of Sugriva, he is lustrous moon to the lotus like heart of Goddess Sita.  I shall meditate upon Kodhandarama who is wielded in powerful bow and arrow, he is too compassionate, he is store house of virtues, he is dearest darling of Goddess Sita, he is eternal, his beautiful eyes has the luster of blue lotus flower petals, he has dark cloud complexion, he is extremely valorous, he is most pleasing, he is unconquerable, he is the source of light to the Universe, he eradicates wicked people. Oh! Tongue, always recite the sacred hymns praising the splendor of Lord Sriramachandhra along with Lakshman, he is lustrous and most attractive like blue lotus flower, he is  inseparable consort of Goddess Sita, he is  Raghava born in the illustrious clan of Raghu.  Oh! Rama, kindly resides with your consort RamA in our hearts, Oh! Rama, you are the destroyer of enemies, you are most promising to people who are surrendered at your lotus feet, you are the store house of virtues, and you are the source of welfare and happiness to the Universe.
