supreme Bhramam is permanent bliss
Sri Surdas
Maharaj speaks “Oh! Mortals, why should we worship Lord Sri Hari? All the Earth’s
creatures are bound by Time and Karma. All
living and non-living things undergo constant transformation and ruin, and the
material matters of infinite sounds, touches, passions, appearance, smells, happiness
and sorrow, wealth and poverty, etc. The trees and plants bear fruits and
flowers in a particular season, and get dried in another, the rivers flood
during the rainy season, and get dried in summer, the moon on the full moon day
and Amavasya are the absolute truth ‘All the material matters are impermanent’.
The all-pervasive supreme Bhramam resides as a soul that is primeval, bliss,
unblemished, eternal, pure, free from dualities/grief and joy, happiness and
sorrow, gain and loss, etc. Oh! Mortals,
it is wise to worship that Sacchidhanandha Paramathma Parambhramam/Sath-eternal,
Chith-pure, Anandha-bliss/ to achieve the permanent bliss, and get freed from the sufferings and grief of
worldly existence and repeated births.”
