Abirami Andhadhi !! Lyrics & meanings 61 - 70

Jai Ambey Ma !!

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, who is the daughter of Himavan, sister of lotus eyed Lord Vishnu, you have protected the least derserving me, equivalent to a foul smelling dog, besides you have provided me with the eternal wisdom and knowledge to understand your existence/primordial nature, therefore I must have attained greatest of merit in previous births.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, consort of Lord Shiva, destroyer of the city of Thripura who carries Golden Mountain as bow, has red eyes and attired the skin of elephant; he is a great protector to you and the Universe as well.  You have obtained half of his body, your mesmerizing form holding sugarcane as bow and fresh alluring flower bunch as arrow on your beautiful hands has the resemblance to gold, which remains in my thought constantly.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, who is the personification of six methods of worship, she is provider of bliss and leads the ignorant through the righteous path, although some of the ignorant people are not willing to follow her and cling on to the huge mountain with an intention to smash to smithereens.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, I am not willing to worship any of the deities, who receive oblations, I shall venerate you, I shall not utter any words other than praising your glories, and I shall not envision any thing other than the splendor of you in this Universe or in the four directions.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami/Oh! Anandha Valli, consort of Lord Shiva who burnt Lord Manmatha while the entire Universe, sky and Earth was witnessing.  You have provided your consort the highest of the status by giving birth to marvelous Lord Skandha who has six faces and twelve hands,  I have no words to admire your grace.

My humble salutation to Godess Abirami, who possessed left half of Lord Shiva who carries Golden Mountain as bow, Oh! Mother, I am an unwise and unmerited person, I have no desire other than shelter at your lotus feet, I am a sinner if I have committed any mistake while eulogizing your glories,  Oh! Mother, kindly pardon me and protect me.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, Oh! Mother, whoever does not worship you or not willing to eulogize your glories not even for a moment or does not envision your magnificent form which has the brilliance of flash of lightning, in their hearts would be tarnished from their superior class, righteousness, wisdom and knowledge, ultimately they will wander like a tramp in the Universe.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, you are the manifestation of  Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Sky, which is the five powerful elements/Pancha Boothas, you are the personification of Karmedhriyas/taste, light, vision, sound, smell etc..  Oh! Sundari, whoever worships your lotus feet would attain highest of the auspiciousness and material well being.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, who has beautiful plait of long hair which has the resemblance to dark clouds, and has the graceful eyes  which are capable to provide all the auspiciousness, wisdom and knowledge, riches, enthusiasam and divine grace, righteousness and all the goodness to the worshipper.

My humble salutation to Goddess Abirami, who dwells in the woods of Kadamba, I have envisioned your splendor and grace at my hearts content, Oh! Mother, who has the melodious voice of musical instrument, has the beautiful hands which hold the divine musical instrument, has high raised bosom on the chest, has the complexion of dark green, daughter of Sage Mathanga, I have envisioned your elegance.
