Mooka Panchashathi !! Kadaksha Shathakam – Lyrics & Meanings 71 – 80!!

||Jai Sriman Narayana ||

|| Om Sri Kamakshyai Nama: ||

Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Lord Neelakanda who has bluish throat witnesses the battle of your auspicious gaze with the dark clouds and finding immense pleasure in it.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious has the resemblance to peacock that dances merrily all through the spring season; it is tortured by the cupid arrows of Lord Manmatha, and joyfully dancing before Lord Parameshwara.  I shall earnestly pray to your auspicious gaze to destroy my sins completely.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious gaze resembles to fully blossomed lotus flower, when Lord Parameshwara stare at you, they besieged with shyness and remains closed like in the night hours.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious gaze are the personification of amorous sport, the moment your auspicious gaze fall on a speech less person becomes Lord Brahma, an ugly looking person attains the charisma of Lord Manmatha, a poorer person becomes Lord Indra.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious gaze has the resemblance to lotus flower, your beautiful long and curly hair locks resembles to pack of honey bees, and pearl decorated nose ring multiplies the beauty of your face with the nectar like compassion.  Oh! Amba, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, it is surprising to note that your auspicious gazes are like wish full filling tree, like a Kamadhenu, it has the capabilities to remove worldly bondage as well as liberty from the cycles of birth and death.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious gaze are capable to remove the sorrows and agonies of Samsara like cool rays of Lord Chandra,  they work like cool sandal wood paste, pearl garland and icy cold water.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your auspicious gaze are filled with compassion, it also has the power to work like fire and lure the heart of Lord Parameshwara who is the enemy of Manmatha.   Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who merrily dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, I shall earnestly pray to shower your auspicious gazes that are the personification of amorous sport, capable to remove all our sins.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who sanctified the city of Kanchi, deeply passionate about Lord Ekamranatha who resides under the Amravruksha I shall earnestly pray to shower your auspicious gaze on us.
