Oh! Devi I am not aware of any Manthra/Vedic hymns or
Yanthra/specific ways of worship with the divine Yanthra, or eulogize your
glories, or invoke you or meditate upon you.
I am not aware of your glorious myths, or venerate you with various
Mudhra/postures other than weep in distress.
It is certain that whoever surrendered to you and faithfully follows
your instructions would be relieved from all the sufferings.
Oh! Shive, who is the mother of the Universe, I am not aware of
any method of worship or I have not enough resources or intelligence or
disposition, If I have made any mistakes while rendering veneration to your
lotus feet, Oh! Janani, kindly forgive me, Oh! Bhavathi, there could be
ill-natured children but there will not be an ill natured mother.
Oh! Janani, In this Universe there are many uncomplicated children
of yours, but I am the most unpredictable and fickle minded among them and it
is rare to witness. Oh! Shive, Still it
is improper to ignore me, Oh! Bhavathi,
there could be ill-natured children, but there will not be an ill natured
mother.
Oh! Jaganmatha/Mother of the Universe, I have never offered any kind
of service to you, Oh! Devi I have not presented any ingredients as offerings
to you, still you have showered abundance of unconditional affection to me,
because there could be ill natured children but there will not be an ill
natured mother.
Oh! Lambodhara Janani/Mother of Lord Ganesha, I have been into
various kinds of worship and I have left with worries and great anguish at this
age, I have no safe heaven other than you, I will be left out with no hopes If
I did not get your grace therefore I shall surrender at your lotus feet.
Oh! Bhavathi, Your nectar like speeches are capable to make a dumb
and an unwise to become a scholar and your grace provides perpetual happiness
and fulfil their desires, it is needless to mention about the devotees who attains
the meritorious rewards by relentlessly reciting your glories.
Oh! Bhavani, Lord Pasupathi who is smeared in Chithabhasmam/sacred
ashes, he has poison wedged on the throat, he has attractive matted hair locks,
he is decorated serpents as ornaments all over the body, he carries
Kapalam/skull, ultimately attained the supreme honor as “Jagatheesha”/Lord of
the Universe after celestial marriage to you.
Oh! Shashimukhi/has the face resemblance to Lord Chandra, Oh!
Rudrani/consort of Lord Rudra, I have no hope for Moksha/liberation from the
cycles of birth and death, or desire for wealth, or wisdom, or sensual
pleasures. Oh! Janani, Kindly fulfill my intense
desire to recite your sacred names as Oh! Mridani, Oh! Rudrani, Shiva, Shiva in
rest of my life.
