The
sacred syllable ‘Hari’ recited even with the polluted mind would destroys heap
of sins, same as the blazing fire burns the hand touched by mistake, if the sacred syllable “Hari’ is in the tip of
our tounge, it would be equivalent to have sacred dip in Ganga, Gaya, Sethu, Kashi and Pushkaram, reciting the
sacred syllable “Hari” is equivalent to the performance of righteous deeds in
sacred places of Varanasi, Kurukshethra and Naimisharanya, reciting the sacred
syllable “ Hari’ is equivalent to have sacred dip in all the sacred theerthas/rivers
in the Universe which brings abundance of meritorious rewards, reciting the
sacred syllable “ Hari’ is equivalent to the performance of millions and
millions of Godanam and performance of marriage of girl child to a deserved
bridegroom, reciting the sacred syllable “ Hari’ is equivalent to the recital
of Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharvana Vedas which brings plenty of merits, reciting
the sacred syllable “ Hari” is equivalent to the performance of Ashwamedha and
various Maha Yagnas, which would fulfil the desires of the worshiper, reciting
the sacred syllable “ Hari” would destroys the worldly bondage, illnesses,
grief and sorrows, and makes the journey peaceful at time of departing the
world, reciting the sacred syllable “ Hari” which is constantly recited by the
virtuous people, would destroys the
worldly bondages and provides liberation from the repeated births.
Whoever
recites or listens to the glorious verses of Sri Haryashtakam in the early
hours of dawn, would be blessed with abundance of merits includes long life, good
health, courage, prosperity, fame and wealth.
