My humble salutation to Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi, Oh! Vraje, Vedas and sacred scriptures affirms that your ardent
devotees always remain in a state of ecstasy; hence I shall surrender at your
lotus feet. Oh! Devi, I shall hold my
breath/Prana with your promise that your passionate devotees will never get
harmed and I keep on thinking the same.
Oh! Matha, I shall completely surrender at your lotus feet, therefore
shower mercy on me, Oh! Dhayanidhe, I shall get my wishes fulfilled by
surrendering at your lotus feet. It will
not be possible to live for a second without your mercy, just like the fishes
that cannot live without water. Oh! Janani,
a mother rushes with milk to her child due to her intense affection and satisfies
the child, in the same manner if you feel that I am your child and you are my mother;
kindly soak me in the nectar like your mercy.
I have committed various sins, just like the rain drops that are
impossible to count, I have no virtues, I am the greatest sinner and you are
the supreme Goddess with extreme compassion, I am confident that you will not
find anyone deserving than me to receive your mercy in this Universe. If I have not taken birth due to my destiny,
I would not require your mercy, just like if there is no illness there will be
no need for cure. Oh! Devi, Oh!
Dhayanidhe, kindly consider whether your compassion is superior or me, and
kindly shower wealth and mercy on us.
