Oh! Bhagavathi, Oh! Amba, kindly pardon
us, you are the symbol of patience, you are not perceivable through eyes or
mind or intellect, you are unblemished, you have Sathvik qualities, you are
unaffected by anger, you are superior among the Sathvees/righteous, you are worshiped by the deities, without your presence the
whole Universe is lifeless and fruitless.
You are the symbol of wealth, you are omnipresent, you represent amorous
sports and you are primordial. You have
personified as Goddess Parvathi in Mount Kailash, you have embodied as
Sindhukanya/ Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi in the milky ocean, you have personified
as Devalakshmi in the abode of celestials and appeared as wealth/Lakshmi on
Earth, you have embodied as Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi in the abode of Lord
Vishnu/Srivaikundham, and Goddess Sri Saraswathi in the Sathyaloka, you have
taken the form of sacred Ganga, Thulsi and Savithri in the abode of Lord
Bhrama. You are the darling of Lord
Krishna, therefore you have appeared as Radhika/Krishnapraneshwari in the world
of cattle/Goloka and you have performed the amorous sports with Lord Krishna in
the woods of Vrindavan. Oh! Badhre, you
are the darling of Lord Krishna, you have appeared as Chandrika in the woods of
Chandra, Viraja in the woods of Champaka, and remains charming always, you have appeared as Padmavathi in the woods
of Padma, Malathi in the woods of Malathi, Kundhadhanthi in the Kundhavanam, and
Susheela in the woods of Kethaki. You are
residing as garlands of Kadamba in the woods of Kadamba, Rajalakshmi in the
Palace of King, and Mahalakshmi in the homes of common people.
Whoever reads or listens to the above
sacred hymns of Devakritha Lakshmi Sthothram in the hours of dawn would be blessed
with all that desired, obstacles in the marriage will be removed, men will be
blessed with appropriate companion, humble, chaste, generous, gorgeous,
attractive with sweet talks from superior clan, couples will be blessed with
children and grandchildren, childless would be blessed with virtuous offspring
with the devotion to Lord Vishnu and long life, worshiper will live a life of
fame, wisdom and all the auspiciousness, King who lost his kingdom would regain
his glories, person who lost his wealth would regain his wealth, worshiper
would regain their relatives, wealth, fame and remain glorious. The above sacred verses are highly auspicious
and capable to remove miseries and grief; it provides eternal bliss and Dharma/righteousness
and Moksha/liberation from repeated births as well.
