Krishna is worshiped by the people of Mathura, he is compassionate, he is
firmly attached to his ardent devotees, he is the provider of wealth to the
cowherds of Vraja, he adores the company of cowherds and young maidens of
Vraja, he is the son of Nandagopa, sacred thread ceremony was performed to him by Nandagopa, he is merciful to
Ugrasena, he has intense faith and devotion to preceptor, he is Bhramachari who
follows strict vows of Bhramacharin, he represents recital of sacred hymns, he
has Sankharshana/Balarama as his classmate, he is the closest associate of
Sudhama, he symbolizes wisdom and knowledge, he is the storehouse of various art
forms, he brought back the life of his preceptor’s son, he is wielded in
powerful divine wheel/Chakra, he is
wielded in Panchajanya/Conch, he eradicates all hellish tortures, he is
worshiped by Lord Yama, he is Para/who is beyond perception through senses, he
is supreme Lord Krishna who dwells in the places where his sacred names are recited
constantly, he is Achyutha/who is indestructible, he rectified the disfigured
Kubja into beautiful young maiden, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is dear to
the distressed people, he is matchless, he accepted the hospitality of Akroora,
he govern the vow, he defeated Jarasandha and made him flee eighteen times, he
is the knower of all, he witnessed the
end of Yavana, he is fond of Bhramins who are devoted their life for the
knowledge of Veda and Shasthra, he is well wisher of Muchukundha, he created a magnificent city
Dwaraka, he is supreme soul/Paramathman personified on Earth, he is fond of
Bhramins who follow Bhraminic rite, he is eternal Truth, he is personified for
the performance of various amusements, he is desirable to everyone, he carries
out the function of preservation of Universe and its living beings, he is the
provider of fame, he graciously received the message of Rukmini, he multiplied
the grief of Rukmi, he caused intense grief to the city of Chedhi and
transformed into Shokalaya/house of sorrow, he is commendable, he is the
destroyer of evil minded Kshathriyas, he disgraced Rukmi, sincerely followed
the words of Rukmini and remained in the chariot, he sincerely follow the words
of Balabadhra and released Rukmi, he is Janardhana who liberates souls from
repeated births, he is the darling of Rukmini, he is the consort of Sathyabhama,
he is submissive to his ardent devotees, he dwells in the hearts of devotees,
he offered the precious gem to Akroora.”
