Sri Surya Mandala Sthothram – Bhavishyoththara Puranam - Lyrics and meanings

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has thousands of brilliant rays, he is primeval exists from thousands of era and he has been an essential part of thousands of Yuga and will continue to exists in the form of thousands of Yuga as well, he illuminates the zone/Surya mandalam with brilliance of rays, he is illustrious, he has the luster of precious gems, he is fiercely, he is eternal, he is the cause for  eradication of poverty and miseries, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by deities, he is eulogized by Vipra/Bhramins, he is capable to liberate the souls from repeated births, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by the Lord of Lords, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.   I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who symbolizes wisdom and knowledge and attainable through supreme intelligence, he is worshiped in the three worlds, he represents trinities, he illuminates the whole Universe with his divine and supreme brilliance, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays, he appears as deep mystery and supreme intellect in the zone/Suryamandala, he flourishes righteousness and eradicates excessive desire in the living beings, he eradicates all kinds of the sins of the worshiper, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he is principal deity who get pleased with praising glories, he illuminates the whole Earth with his supreme brilliance, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has numerous names eulogizes by Veda, his lotus feet is praised by the  Siddhas, he is worshiped by Yogis with strict Yogic practices, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.    I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by all the living beings, he is the source of light to the world, and he is eternal, he continues to exists in all Yugas, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by Lord Vishnu and Lord Bhrama, he is worshiped with sacred syllable which is capable to destroy all kinds of sins of living beings, he is the cause to shrink Kala and Kalpa, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is the cause of creation, preservation and deluge/Pralaya at the end of Yuga, he causes the complete annihilation of the Universe at the end of each Kalpa, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who  is the personification of Lord Vishnu, he is Paramdhama who is beyond comparison dwells in the abode of Srivaikundham, he is pure, he has subtle form who is approachable through strict yogic practices, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is eulogized by Veda, he is praised by Siddhas and Charanas, his celestial abode Suryamandala is eulogized by Veda, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya whose celestial abode Suryamandala is eulogized by Veda, he is approachable through strict Yogic practices by Yogis, and he is highly revered and worshiped, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays. 


Whoever reads or listens to the sacred verses of Suryamandala Sthothram would be relieved from all sins and ultimately reside in the celestial abode of Surya/Suryamandalam.
