I shall meditate upon supreme Lord
Mahadeva who is eulogized by
Shruthi/Veda, he is embodied as Universe and its living beings, he is all
pervading and generated Surya, he is personified as Ashtamoorthi/eight glorious
forms as Lord Shiva, Sharva, Bhava,
Rudra, Ugra, Bheema, Pashupathi, Maheva, and Eshana, he has three eyes
and Lord Surya as one of his eyes, he illuminates the whole Universe with his
brilliance, he symbolizes sacred texts and Veda, he is embodied as Eshana who
is extended up to the sky, he is Eshana/supreme Lord Rudra who symbolizes all
fields of knowledge, heis the protector of living beings and worshiped with
sacred hymns, he is the essence of Veda worshiped by Lord Vishnu and Lord
Bhrama, he is Prabhu who causes delusion at the end of Yuga/Samharakala and
absorbs the Universe and its living beings with in him without leaving any
trace of it, during the Shrishtikala/ once again the creation begins, Universe
and its living beings come into sight, he is embodied as Surya and Chandra, he
performs the function of creation, he symbolizes Kalpa. The above are the highly propitious hymns to
eulogize Lord Mahadeva for the ardent devotees who are surrendered to him. He is supreme Lord Rudra who embodied as Vishvam/Universe and its
living beings, essential elements and sacred Veda, he is Mrithyunjjaya who has
won over Lord of death, he symbolizes Yajja/fire sacrifices and fruitful
performance of Yajja, he is Shiva who is dispassionate swallowed the fatal poison, he is benignant/favourable/gracious/supreme bliss, he is embodied as
celestial bull, he is most desirable, he is storehouse of virtues, he is pure,
he is eulogized by Surasa and Asuras, he is the cure for all incurables and he
is deserved to be worshiped, whoever eulogise Shankara with the above glorious
verses would be relieved from the world
of Samsara which is world of chronic
illnesses/Samsara Maharoga.
