Sri Guha Pancharathnam – Lyrics and meanings

I shall meditate upon Lord Guha who is the son of Goddess Uma, he is the essence of Pranava “Om’ and he dwells in it, he symbolizes Vedic text and he lives in the woods of sacred texts, he is eternal, he is supreme Lord who is most favorable, gracious, caring, and compassionate, he is serene, I shall meditate upon Lord Guha who is the son of Goddess Uma, he is not perceivable through senses, he is beyond words and human intellect, he is Skandha, he merrily explores through the garden of Chith/spirit, intellect, he is personified as a charming youth and supreme preceptor as well, I shall meditate upon Lord Guha who is the son of Goddess Uma, he symbolizes Sacchidhanandham/eternal bliss, he lightens the nightfall of worldly existence, he is Subramanya who is the beginning as well  as the end of the Universe, I shall meditate upon Lord Guha who is the son of  Goddess Uma, he is Swaminatha who is the ocean of mercy, Oh! Prabhu, kindly help us to cross the ocean of worldly existence, he is unblemished, he has endless virtues and he is beyond virtues, I shall meditate upon Lord Guha who is the son of Goddess Uma, he is Nirakara/shapeless, formless, he is Niradhara/does not require support system, he is Nirvikara/uniform, unchangeable, he is Niramaya/untainted, complete, infallible, pure, he is Nirdhvandham/absence of dual form, he is Niralamba/self-supported, independent.
