I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Subramanya, who is the ruler of deities as well as Universal monarch, he is the commander of
thousands and millions of Universe and Bhramanda, he is divine personified as
flawless Purusha, he is beloved son of Esha and Gauri, he has the brilliance of
thousands and millions of Adhithya, he is Subramanya who was born from fire released
out of third eye of Lord Shiva, it was carried by Vayu and deposited on the
sacred river Ganga, he was born in reeds, he was taken care by foster mothers
six young maiden of Karththika, he has beautiful six faces, he is charismatic,
he represents the sacred syllables of Kshadakshara,
he resides in six holy abodes known as Swamimalai, Thiruththani, Palani, Pazhamuthircholai, Thiruchendhur, and Thirupparamkundram, he
resides in the middle of Shatkona, he has glorious six forms, he is supreme
preceptor who resides in caves, he is youthful always, he is Gurupara, Swaminatha,
and Shivagurunatha/described the essence
of Pranava, he is mounted on celestial vehicle peacock, he is wielded in
powerful spear, he holds majestic flag that has the symbol of rooster , he has
powerful twelve arms, his two hands are in Abhaya and Varadhahastha posture, he
holds lotus flower, his beautiful twelve eyes showers true compassion upon his
devotees, he is worshiped by Sage Agasthya, Maharishi Narada and Vedavyasa and
illustrious Rishis and Sages, he is surrounded by mighty army of deities, he is
the safest heaven to the whole Universe, he destroyed demons Shoorapadma,
Tharakasura, Simhamukha, and Mount Krauncha, he is the protector of passionate
devotees, he is worshiped by Suraraja/Indhra, he is beloved consort of Goddess
Devasena, he is worshiped by Nambiraja, he is beloved consort of most beautiful
Goddess Valli, he represents Yoga, he is the Lord of Yoga, he is serene, he has
pleasing disposition, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is beloved son of
Lord Shiva, he is worshiped on the propitious sixth day of Lunar fortnight, he symbolizes
supreme wisdom and knowledge, he holds Shakthi/spear, and flag that has the
symbol of rooster, he has peacock as celestial vehicle, he is adorned in
various precious ornaments all over the body, he is adorned in garlands which
keeps moving sideways, he is beautifully adorned in sandalwood paste, sacred
ashes, vermilion, and Rudraksha, he
eradicates miseries and sorrows of passionate devotees, he fulfills all the
desires of the devotees, he is the source of delight of devotees, he is the
source of happiness and welfare of the devotees, he is the source of Yoga and
welfare of devotees, he is the source of auspiciousness to devotees, he is the
source intense devotion and faith to worshiper, he is easily attainable with
intense devotion, he symbolizes precious gem of sincere devotees, he is beloved
consort of Goddesses Valli and Devasena, he is beloved son of Lord Shiva and
Goddess Shakthi, he is beloved brother to Ganesha, Shastha and Anjaneya, he is
beloved of Goddess Mahalakshmi and Lord Vishnu, he is brother of nine Shakthis
emerged out of the anklets worn by
Goddess Parvathi, later it was transformed to
nine brothers of Lord Subramanya with the help of Lord Shiva, he has
great splendor, he is extremely compassionate, I shall repeatedly prostrate
before the soft and supple lotus feet of Lord Subramanya. Hail to Lord Subramanya !
