||Sri Ardhanareeshvara Sharanagathi Gadhyam ||

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva  who has marvelous form as Ardhanareeshvara, he is Universal monarch, he is the commander of thousands and millions of Bhramanda, he is adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, he crushed the pride of Lord Kamadeva, he is wielded in trident, he is firm, he is Lord of Mountain and Lord of Goddess Girija as well, he is mighty Lord Shambhu who resides as soul in living beings, he eradicates miseries and sorrows of worldly existence, he is Lord of Universe, he is soul of Goddess Parvathi, he is Lord of Pramadhaganas, he is wielded in Mount Meru as bow, he is Vamadeva and Bhava as well, he is decked in powerful weapon Pinaka, he has bluish throat, he has celestial bull as vehicle, he has glorious five faces as Ishanam , Thathpurusham, Aghoram, Vamadevam, and Sadhyojatham which represents five essential elements known as  Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth,  he is Lord of Universe and its living beings, he is adorned in serpents as ornaments, he is  Lord of living beings, he is Lord of Universe, he is adorned in sacred river Ganga on reddish-brown matted hair locks, he is  Lord of Nandhi, he is the slayer of Banasura and Anandhaka, he is Lord of sacred land of Varanasi, he is extremely valorous, he destroyed the Yaga of Dhakshaprajapathi, he is Lord of Ganas, he is omniscient, he symbolizes wealth and auspiciousness, his hair represents sky, he has unique throat, he resides in the supreme abode of Mount Kailash, he has won over death, he is the Lord of Universe, he is beloved of Narayana, he eradicates haughtiness and arrogance, he has embodied as Universe, he is true companion of distressed people, he is beloved of Lord Vishnu, he has won over death, he has attractive reddish-brown matted hair locks, he holds baby antelope, his body is smeared in sacred ashes from the funeral ground, he symbolizes Rig, Yajur, and  Sama Veda, he is Paramathma who is beyond human intellect, he has Soma, Surya, and Agni as three eyes, he is the slayer of demon Andhakasura, he is fond of being eulogized by Samaveda, he is attired in skin of animals, his attractive limbs has the luster of camphor, he has attractive reddish-brown matted hair locks, he is Lord Shiva who symbolizes auspiciousness, he has unique appearance smeared in sacred ashes all over the body, he is adorned in serpent as anklets, his eyes has the resemblance to blue lotus flower petals, he is wrathful, he is adorned in garland of Kapala, he is attired in directions as clothe, he has  attractive and sparkling reddish-brown matted hair locks, he is Lord of the Universe, he performs cosmic dance at the end of Yuga which causes mass destruction, he is the father of Universe, he is adorned in sparkling King of serpent as ornament, he is inseparable from consort ShivA who has lustrous limbs resembles to the flowers of Champeya, she has attractive curly hair locks, she is adorned in Kasthuri and Kumkum, she is attired in marvelous garments, adorned in  marvelous anklets and various precious ornaments all over the body , she has wide and beautiful eyes resembles to blue lotus flower petals, she has compassionate grace, she is adorned in garlands of flowers of Mandara,  she has attractive long and curly hair locks adorned in various fresh alluring flowers which attracts pack of honey bees, she immerses in the meditation upon Lord Shiva, she creates the Universe and its living beings with the movements of eye brows, she is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she is adorned in magnificent earrings decorated with precious gem which spread intense luster, she has personified as Uma, Gauri, Parvathi, Kathyayani, Kali, Haimavathi, Eshvari, Bhavani, Rudrani, Sharvani, Sarvamangala, Aparnna, Durga, Mridani, Chandika, Ambika, Arya, Dhakshayani, Girija who is the daughter of Mount Himavan and Devi Menaka, she is the mother of Lord Skandha, she is Mahadevi, she is the source of happiness to her passionate devotees, she has firm and large bosom, she is Kamalakshi who has the eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, she is Kamakshi who fulfills all the desires of the worshiper with great auspicious gaze, she is youthful always, she is the source of good fortune, wealth, prosperity, opulence, and auspiciousness, she is most desirable, she lures the entire world with her mesmerizing beauty, he has embodied as Earth, she symbolizes auspiciousness, she has beautiful neck resembles to shell, she has personified as Kalyani who symbolizes wealth, and auspiciousness, she is beloved of Goddess Kamala, she is Sarveshvari who symbolizes all the female deities, she holds Kalasha/small vessel, she is sister of Lord Vishnu, she is fond of playing melodious music on Veena, she is worshiped by all the deities, she resides in the dense wood of Kadamba, she resides in the highest peak of Vindhyachala, she is dearest darling of Lord Hara, she adorn the sanctified dais of Kamakotipeeda, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, she has lustrous blue limb, she has lustrous face resembles to full moon, she symbolizes all the philosophies, she is worshiped by Lord Indhra, she is store house of virtues, she symbolizes  piousness, she is eternal, she does  not require any support system, she is primeval, she  is pure, she is Vageeshvari who is the Goddess of excellence in speech, she has pleasing disposition, she is impartial, she has personified as Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who symbolizes wealth, she symbolizes Mahamangalanayika who is the source of all the auspiciousness, she is seated on the gem decorated majestic throne , she is the cause for creation, preservation, and destruction, she symbolizes sacred syllables and chants, fire sacrifices, she is wielded in weapons of Vajra and Shakthi, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan, she is safest heaven to worshiper who are surrendered at her lotus feet, she represents all Agamashasthras, she is beloved of Lord Shankara, she is Thripurabhairavi who is adorned in crescent moon on marvelous crown, I shall repeatedly prostrate before the lotus feet of supreme Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, Hail to supreme Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi as Ardhanareeshvara!
