Sri Bhrama Bhairava who is one of the
fierce form of Lord Rudra speaks “ Oh ! Devesha, who is Lord of Lords, I am your sincere disciple, hence I would
like to hear propitious hymns and sacred armor to put into practice.”
Lord Shiva replies “I shall describe the
glorious hymns praising the splendor of supreme Goddess Annapoornna at your genuine
request. I shall prostrate before
Goddess Annapoornna who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Hreemkara, I shall
recite her propitious hymns begins with Bhagavathi and ends with Swaha, she is
Maheshvari who is invoked with the prayers of Sapthadhashakshari, I shall
meditate upon supreme Goddess Amba who is the mother of Universe and its living
beings, she is youthful always, she has the effulgence of sun in the early
hours of dawn, she is supreme Goddess ShivA who has personified as
Nithyannapoornna who is the source of abundance of grains in the Universe, Oh!
Devi, kindly blesses us with your eternal presence in our homes and shower
abundance of grains. She symbolizes the
sacred syllables of Hreemkara, she has most desirable appearance, her marvelous
crown is adorned in crescent moon, she is dearest darling of Esha, I shall
always prostrate before supreme Goddess Annapoornna whose lotus feet are capable to provide
wealth, opulence, prosperity, welfare, good fortune and richness. I shall reverentially prostrate before Girirajakanya
who is the daughter of Mount Himavan, I
shall reverentially prostrate before
supreme Goddess who is chaste wife of Kamanthaka/slayer of Kamadeva, I shall
reverentially prostrate before supreme Goddess who has lustrous eyes resembles
to lotus flower petals, I shall reverentially prostrate before supreme Goddess
who symbolizes auspiciousness, she is adorned in crescent moon the crown. I shall perceive the glorious form of Goddess
Annapoornna who has lustrous three eyes
resembles to lotus flower petals, she holds the gem decorated vessel of nectar
with a ladle on the left hand, she is adorned in various precious ornaments all
over the body, she is stunningly gorgeous, she is dearest darling of Lord of
Mountains. I shall meditate upon supreme Goddess Annapoornna, who is the mother
of Universe and its living beings, she has the luster of autumn moon, she holds
gem decorated vessel full of nectar on the left hand, she holds lotus flower,
she is adorned in exquisite ornaments of gem decorated which spreads extreme
radiance, she holds gem decorated ladle on the right hand, she is attired in
magnificent red silk garment, she has large and high bosom covered in various
precious ornaments of precious yellow metal, she has Surya, Chandhra and Agni
as three eyes. Oh! Bhagavathi, I am completely worn out of miseries and sorrows
of worldly existence, I have committed various sins and evil act, I have been
materialistic and immersed in the delight of son, wife, wealth, and relatives,
Oh! Bhuvanamatha, who is the mother of Universe, kindly shower your nectar like
auspicious grace which could remove my ignorance and hallucination, Oh!
Annapoornne, kindly protect us. I shall
take refuge at the lotus feet of supreme Goddess Annapoornna, who is wish
fulfilling creeper, she is Bhavani who removes worldly existence of the
worshiper, and she removes hunger of the worshiper, Oh! Girirajakanye, I shall
prostrate before supreme Goddess Annapoornna, kindly remove our forest fire
like sufferings of poverty, Oh! Annapoornne, I shall offer my intellect at the
service of your lotus feet, kindly shower your nectar like auspicious grace on
us. These are highly auspicious hymns praising
the splendor of Goddess Annapoornna, whoever reads or listens to it with
intense faith and devotion would be blessed with permanent wealth, abundance of
grains, prosperity, richness, good fortune, opulence, wisdom and knowledge,
ultimately worshiper would be liberated from repeated births.
