I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Dhakshinamoorthi who is achievable to passionate worshiper, he resides under
the shade of Vatavriksha/Peepal tree, he symbolizes abode of kindness, and
contentment, Oh! Deva, kindly awake my intellect and bless me with the
knowledge of self. He is supreme
preceptor who symbolizes endless mercy, he is primeval deity who resides under
the shade of Vatavriksha, he is silent, he has pleasing smile on his face, and
he imparts the supreme knowledge to the illustrious Rishis and Sages surrounded
by him. He diffuses the remaining
lethargy of the illustrious Rishis and Sages with his superior gestures; he
drives out the all – pervading illusion with his kindness, Oh! Deva, kindly impart
the supreme consciousness of ‘Thaththvamasi’.
I shall reverentially prostrate before supreme Lord Dhakshinamoorthi,
who is Preceptor of All preceptors, he symbolizes nectar like waves of extreme
compassion, he is supreme consciousness who is perceivable through intense
devotion and faith, he destroys the bondage of worldly existence with his sharp
sword, and he is supreme ascetic. Oh! Deva, who is primeval, Oh! Vatamoolavasi,
who resides under the shade of Vatavriksha, kindly shower your mercy to attain
nearness to you, Oh! Deva who is the essence of Pranava, kindly impart the knowledge
of Pranava and supreme wisdom and knowledge to put an end to my ignorance. His limbs has the luster of moon, his
attractive curly hair locks are kept loosened, I shall perceive that glorious
form of Dheshika/supreme preceptor, he is infallible, he is eternal, he has great effulgence of supreme knowledge and
wisdom which diffuses the darkness of ignorance. I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme
Lord Dhakshinamoorthi who is seated on particular posture, right leg placed on the
knee of left leg, his lotus feet are adorned in Yogapattam, Apasmrithi/memory
loss crushed under his feet. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord Dhakshinamoorthi who is primeval deity and
supreme preceptor of pious people, he symbolizes abode of attributes, and highest philosophies, he is youthful imparting supreme knowledge to
illustrious Rishis and Sages. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Dhakshinamoorthi who is Acharyachoodamani who is precious gem adorned in the
head of preceptors, his hand in Chinmudra posture, he holds Parashu and Mrigam/baby antelope, one
hand that holds sacred scriptures rest on the knee. I shall prostrate before Dheshikendhra who is
supreme preceptor, he is smeared in rich fragrant musk and sacred ashes, he excels
the beauty of Kamadheva, he is attired in skin of leopard, he destroys the wood
fire like ignorance of the worshiper. I
shall perceive the glorious form of Lord Dhakshinamoorthi, who has pleasing
smile on his face, he is adorned in crescent moon on the crown, he holds Veena,
his attractive hair locks are kept loosened, he is contemplated upon by the
illustrious Rishis and Sages in a state of ecstasy. I shall meditate upon supreme Lord
Dhakshinamoorthi who is Lord Mahesha, he destroys worldly bondage, lust and
desires, he is worshiped by illustrious Sage Shuka who is absolute Bhramam. I shall meditate upon supreme Lord
Dhakshinamoorthi who has the luster of Kundhapushpa, he resides under the shade
of peepal tree, and he is surrounded by illustrious Rishis and Sages who are
staring at him with great honor, he destroys worldly bondage and desires, he
imparts the highest knowledge of supreme consciousness with the divine gestures
of his hand. I shall meditate upon
supreme Lord Dhakshinamoorthi who has lustrous limbs resembles to camphor, he has
Agni as eye on forehead, he is attired in simple clothe, he is adorned in
serpent as ornaments, his hand reveals highest of the gesture, he is immersed
in deep meditation, he is flawless, he is pure. Oh! Deva, Oh! Dhakshinamoorthe,
kindly initiate me to the supreme consciousness, so that I will get rid of
dullness, foolishness, and ignorance. Oh! Mahase, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Dhakshinamoorthi, who resides under the shade of Vatavriksha, he is adorned in
sparkling crescent moon on the crown, he has most attractive appearance, he has
created the Universe and its living beings with his spectacular illusion, he has attractive curly hair locks kept
loosened, he is adorned in crescent moon on the crown, his face has the luster
of full moon, he has great radiance, he is pure, Oh! Chandhrakantha who has the
luster of moon, he is extremely kind and compassionate to the ardent worshiper,
his auspicious glance is enough to melt the hearts. Oh! Shashankamaule, who is
adorned in crescent moon on the crown, kindly shower your auspicious grace on
us, kindly bless us with opulence, wealth, richness, good fortune, abundance of
grains, long life, supreme knowledge and
wisdom, and highest of the supreme consciousness.
