Nyayashasthra – Chapter -15 - Chanakya Neethi – 11 - 18

Chapter – 15– Chanakya Neethi – 11 – 18

Rishi Chanakya speaks “The person who consumes meals 1) before receiving the guests properly or 2) without  serving a meal to the guests arrived tired of hunger is considered as Chandala. The twice-born/Bhramin who have profound knowledge in four Vedas, Vedantha, Shastra, Purana, but failed to achieve the knowledge of Athman/Sarvam Kalvitham Bhrama,/Oneness-in-All, the supreme Bhramam resides as the soul is pure, eternal, changeless, unblemished, free from afflictions, has neither birth nor death, is considered as the hood of serpent or  ladle/wooden spatula used to pour ghee on the fire sacrifices. The twice-born/Bhramin who sincerely follow the rites prescribed in the scriptures, follows spiritual and religious rites, conduct Swadhyaya/learning scriptures and practicing Vedic chants etc. undertake austerities, Sathyam, Dhama, Shaucham, Shama, and Dhaya, are fortunate and unique Jeeva, considered as ferries to cross the unfathomable ocean of worldly existence. This unique ferry has the capabilities to guide the righteous, pious, noble souls, down-trodden to the safest asylum, as well as it has the power to bring down the haughty, arrogant, evil, wicked-natured crush down under their feet and make them sink in the vast ocean as well. The people who relentlessly serve the twice-born/Bhramin and honor them, and sincerely follow their teachings, provide an abundance of charities to perform spiritual and religious rites for the welfare of the Universe and its living beings would easily cross the ocean of worldly existence and repeated births as well. Lord Chandra is the source of nectar, he is the Lord of herbs, resembles Amritha and has supreme radiance, even though he can’t outshine the radiance of Lord Surya during the day, in the same manner, people who take shelter in the stranger’s home, even if they are powerful and wealthiest loses respect. The bees that have taken great pleasure in the freshly boomed cluster of lotus flowers for a long time moved to unknown lands where there are no availability of freshly bloomed lotus flowers, takes pleasure in the flowers of Kutaja/ and highly praises the taste of nectar in it. There was a conversation took place between Lord Vishnu and Goddess Mahalakshmi. Devi speaks “Oh! Bhagavan, once, Sage Agasthya got annoyed and dried up the entire ocean who is my father. On another occasion, Sage Bhrighu got angry and gave a hard kick on the chest of my husband/Lord Vishnu. The twice-born Bhramin take shelter in Goddess Saraswathi from their childhood to achieve knowledge in Veda, Vedantha, Shastra and Puranas, they place Goddess Saraswathi on their tongue, conduct the veneration of Umakantha/Lord Mahadeva/Shivapooja, offering freshly bloomed lotus flowers, which is the dwelling place of mine that is the reason I feel distressed and leaving their homes.” The worldly bondages are different types 1) attachment to family, children, wife, companion, relatives 2) attachment to material things, richness, possession, wealth, fame, money, etc. In either way, both of them are capable to weaken the potential to achieve the Paramathma Parambhramam,  and destroys the serenity of the mind, ultimately  heave the Jeeva into the vicious cycles of rebirths, like the Shadpadha that takes pleasure in hiding in the trees got stuck in the cluster of lotus flowers. The noble souls and righteous people will not leave their virtues/Sathguna even if they are penniless, had to confront vicious challenges, like the sandalwood tree will not leave its fragrance while cutting them down, the untamed elephant does not leave it ferocious nature  even after growing too old, and the sugarcane does not lose its sweetness after crushing it.”
