Chapter - 103 -Sri Vinaya Patrika - The sufferings of worldly existence/Samsara
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “ Oh! Prabho,
you are the Shiromani of wealth, you are the source of wealth and prosperity.
Whoever taken shelter at your lotus feet would achieve an abundance of
auspiciousness and wealth, after that they need not spread hands before anyone,
or ask for anything or desire to achieve. Oh! Prabho, the Dhaithya,
Dhanavas, Devatha, Muni, and Manushya,
are not generous like you, they always expect something in return. Oh!
Koshaladheesha, you are too kind and compassionate to your devotees, you are
Kalpathru to them. You easily get pleased to your devotees, cannot bear the
distress of them. You had several incarnations such as wild boar, half-lion and
half-man, giant tortoise, fish, etc. in all that you have proved the magnanimous
nature of you. The poor twice-born Sudhama approached you with a handful of
flattened rice, you have provided him an abundance of wealth and richness. Oh!
Ram, you have fulfilled all the desires of Vibheeshana, Sugreevah, Shabari, and
Hanuman, they have taken shelter at your lotus feet without any expectation or
desires. Oh! Dhayanidhe, Tulsi is getting tortured by the Asharoopi Pishchini
of interest in worldly matters, wealth, richness, money, fame, attachment to
wife, children, relatives, and companion, Ahamkara and Mamakara, Kama, Krodha,
Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, etc. my mind and intellect easily gets
wedged on the infinite Nama, Roop Dhrishya, and taking excessive pleasure in the Sabdha,
Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa, and Gandha, eventually getting desperate and disappointed,
hurling myself into extreme grief and pain. Oh! Prabho, kindly liberate me
from the sufferings of the worldly existence, and provide me your Dharshan, so
that I can make my life fruitful.”
