Chapter – 114- Sur -Vinaya – Pathrika –
Sri Surdas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Mortals, get
rid of the impurities of the mind such as ego, pride, jealousy, lust, desire,
anger, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, then surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Hari.
The grave sins committed by lust and desire would bring severe punishment in
the abode of Yama/death. Oh! Mortals, surrender at the lotus feet of
all-pervasive supreme Bhramam Lord Sri Hari, he is Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa
Paramathma Parambhramam reside as a soul in the Jeeva is pure, eternal bliss, unblemished,
free from dualities of happiness and sorrow, good and evil, honor and disgrace,
it has neither birth nor death. The Supreme Lord Sri Hari is the protector of the Universe and its living and non-living things, reside as a soul in you, he is the
source of functioning of the mind, intellect, Chiththa, Ahamkara, Karma, and Gnanendhriyas,
Panchaprana, etc. Oh! Mortals, I shall recommend you the most superior method to
get rid of the Thapathraya/three kinds of grief and repeated cycles of birth,
contemplate and meditate upon Lord Sri Hari with intense faith and devotion, it
would provide eight kinds of supernatural powers while living on the Earth, and
the supreme Lord Shyamsundhar would ease all the troubles while leaving the
mortal coil.”
