||Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Om Sri Kamakshyai Nama: ||

My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who sanctified the city of Kanchi, she is stunningly gorgeous and in a state of ecstasy due to the embrace of her consort Lord Parameshwara, I earnestly pray her to bless me to visualize her magnificent form always in my mind.  She is beyond description; she is the personification of auspiciousness and epitome of beauty won over the heart of Lord Parameshwara who burnt the city of Thripura, moves elegantly through the sand bed on the river banks of Kampa.  I have witnessed Goddess Sri Kamakshi on the sacred river banks of Kampa, she is primordial, she has eye-catching thin waist, and she is always youthful, attired in crimson colored garment.  I have witnessed Goddess Sri Kamakshi on the river banks of Kampa, whose beauty is indescribable, she is most desirable and ever youthful consort of Lord Ekambaranatha who is adorned the crescent moon on matted hair lock.  I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides in the sacred city of Kanchi, adorned the crescent moon on hair lock, she is the personification of wisdom and knowledge and prominent in the usage of words. I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides in the sacred land of Kanchi, She is primeval, and she has crimson colored features, carries bow of sweetest sugarcane and arrows of fresh alluring flowers which attracts the overflowing bees.  I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who consecrated the city of Kanchi, she is the nectar from the flower of Upanishad, she has large raised bosom, she is most desirable and perpetual delight of Lord Parameshwara/Shambu.  I shall surrender to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who has the eyes of deer, she destroys the sins of her passionate devotees who always prostrate before her, she is devoted consort of Lord Ekamranatha, she is beyond descriptions and she is absolute Brahmam.  She has smiling face, she is compassionate, she dwells in the city of Kanchi, she is divine which brings eternal bliss in the hearts of worshipper and soak them in the ocean of nectar.  I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who ecstatically resides in the sacred land of Kanchi, decked the crescent moon as a mark of supreme austerities, she is the most precious gem born in the illustrious clan of Mount Himavan.
