My
humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who delightfully dances in the sacred
city of Kanchi, I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the savior of
living beings, she is the personification of compassion, she is the ocean of
mercy, she is personified as Veda decked in various garlands made of
precious gems, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan. I prostrate before the lotus feet of Goddess
Sri Kamakshi who is the remover grief and sorrows of worshipper, she is the
consort of Lord Thripurari who destroyed the city of Tripura, she is the symbol
of illusion, she has crimson color complexion, she is decked in crescent moon
on her beautiful hair lock, and she dwells in the city of Kanchi. I found immense bliss on the divine form of
Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the provider of liberation from the cycles of birth
and birth, she is beautifully adorned the crescent moon on her attractive hair
lock which has the resemblance to Chakora bird, she is fond of residing on the
river banks of Kampa. I prostrate before
Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the
representation of Veda and Sound, she is the manifestation of Bindu, Lord
Chandra, Manthra, Thanthra, Prakrithi and she is the essence in all the living
beings in the Universe. I shall
surrender to the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides on the
river bank of Kampa, she has incomparable beauty; she has stunning physical
features, marvelous hair, eyes, large raised bosom, etc.. I am witnessing the
glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi with her blessings, which is unparalleled
and indescribable in nature, she is the delight of Lord Parameshwara. I shall
eulogize the eternal glories of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who personifies wisdom as
Goddess Sri Saraswathi, the female force of Lord Brahma, she is Kathyayani/daughter
of Sage Kathyayana, Kali/dark complexioned/Kalatheetha, Kamakoti, Kala,
Bharathi/Saraswathi, Bhairavi/Consort of Bhairava, Bhadhra, Shakini/Yogini,
Shambavi/consort of Shambu, Shiva etc… I
prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi, she is Malini consort of Lord
Maheshwara, she ecstatically resides in the sacred city of Kanchi, she is the
annihilator of enemies, she carries trident/Shoolini and skull/Kapalini, she
has crimson color complexioned, and she is the savior of the deities. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Shoolapane you
are the personification of auspiciousness.
