Oh!
Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the hearts of great Sages and Rishis,
resides in the sacred sanctum situated
on the magnificent river bank of Kamba, she is the destroyer of darkness of ignorance,
she is the cause for all the living beings in the Universe, she is the ocean of
mercy, Oh! Shankari/consort of Shankari, I shall earnestly pray for the well
being of us. Oh! Janani, Oh! Kamakshi,
whoever an unwise or poorer or blind attains your gaze would remain intellectuals,
flourish like Lord Indra and obtain all the luxuries and marvelous physical
features like Lord Manmatha. Oh! Goddess
Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the sacred land of Kanchi I earnestly pray to
envision your glorious form dwells in
the hearts of greatest Yogis and Rishis and venerated by them, she is
unblemished, she has large raised bosom which allure the heart of Lord
Parameshwara. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi
consort of Lord Shiva who is the enemy of Lord Manmatha, explore through the
hearts of intellectuals and poets, she dwells in the sacred land of Kanchi, she
is the powerful stream of mercy, she is the protector of whole Universe, she is
not easily attainable, and she is the personification of virtues. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, consort of Lord
Parameshwara, I shall venerate your lotus feet with sincere faith and devotion,
I have exhausted with the endless desires for wealth, I will stay away from
wicked people, I will give up worldly desires and stay away from the fear of
Samsara. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi
whoever attains your fleeting look would remain wealthy, even the deities would
express their willingness to serve him, he would obtain immense pleasure from
the celestial Apsaras, he would be enriched with sweet melodious voice along
with proficiency in words and remain ever youthful. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are the source
of livelihood for the intellectuals and poets in the three worlds, you are the
delight of Lord Parameshwara, you are provider of liberation from the cycles of
birth and death, your gaze are capable to remove grief and sorrows, I shall earnestly
pray to remove my impurities as well.
Oh! Goddess Kamakshi, I shall earnestly pray to envision your glorious
form, you are the personification of amorous sport and auspiciousness, you have
the brilliance of Kalaya flowers, you are the provider of proficiency in poetic
skills in scholars and intellectuals.
You are originated from the peak of Himalaya, capable to remove all
impurities, you have personified as Prana in all living beings, you are the
priceless gem dwells in the sacred land of Kanchi, and multiplies the vividness
of Lord Shankara with your eternal presence.
I shall earnestly play that my heart should remain a chamber for this
priceless gem. Oh! Goddess Sri
Kamakshi, I shall earnestly pray for your eternal presence in my heart, you are
soaked in the pool of nectar, fond of
exploring the entire Universe, you are worshipped by the virtuous people in the
sacred land of Kanchi and you are the pride of Lord Parameshwara,
