|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
Oh! Supreme
Lord Shiva, who has unparalleled compassion and affection towards the whole
creatures and savior of all the creatures in the Universe, in order to protect
the movable and immovable creatures that was already situated in your stomach
and the creatures dwells in the Universe, the huge blaze of venom that causes
destruction and frightens the deities, you have gracefully stored the deadly
poison on your throat which never goes out or enter inside your body.
Oh! Supreme
Lord Shiva, how did you witness the deadly poison in the form of huge blaze
that caused the deities alarmed? How
did you store in your throat? Was that Jambuphal/rose apple taken on your palm
to swallow? Or was that some kind of herbal medicine that was kept on your
tongue eventually that was adorned as jewel in your throat? Was that deadly poison a jewel
of blue sapphire for you?
Oh! Lord of
Lords, The selfless service to you and your devotees, prostration before your
lotus feet, singing an praising the glories of you, meditation or worship,
visiting the holiest lands is capable to attain salvation at your lotus feet?. How did I obtain Salvation? And if
it’s possible to attain salvation from any of the above methods why should I
look for other means of worship of various impermanent deities?
Oh! Lord
Pasupathi ! Oh! Shambo, how did I praise your valor? Who has possessed composure and
state of self like you? How did it possible for others to achieve your
fearlessness and state of tranquility? During
the time of deluge all the deities’ gets alarmed and rushes on their feet,
Sages and Rishis gets trembled with extreme fear and you are the fearless one
witness the inundation with immense joy.
Oh! Lord
Shambhu, You are the savior and provider of fortunes, you are the preceptor who
advises the ways to achieve the desires, You are the omnipresent and
omnipotent, You are the knower of all, you are the most compassionate Lord of
Lords does not require to describe your glories by me. I am your passionate devotee, I
worship you and I am immersed in your thoughts.
Oh! Supreme
Lord Shiva, consort of Goddess Sri Parvati, You are cleansing my house of body
and keeps its unadulterated, I am one of your ardent devotees who is seeking
all the auspiciousness, I venerate you chanting the hymns which improve the
Satvik qualities in me; I adore your lotus feet by my serene heart as pitcher
tied with the thread of devotion and filled with holy water, pure wisdom as
coconut and performing ceremonial purification.
Oh! Supreme
Lord Shiva, the intellectuals venerate you with their firm devotion and
dedication, just like faithfully churning the ocean of Veda with the churning
stick to attain the Supreme Lord with his consort Goddess Sri Parvati, who is
like Kalpakavruksha/wish fulfilling tree and the divine cow Kamadhenu and the
precious gem Chinthamani, provider of eternal bliss to the intellectuals and he
is the fortune of Mokshalakshmi/Goddess Sri Parvati.
Oh! Supreme
Lord, due to the abundance of devoutness earned in the previous birth I have
witnessed the blissful divine immortal nectar like form of Lord who is the
provider of fortuity, worshipped by the deities, holding deer/delusion on his
hand, destroyer of darkness of ignorance, along with the inseparable Goddess
Sri Parvati, which brought me into the state of seventh heaven and it brings
steadiness to the hearts of unblemished as well.
Oh! Supreme
Lord Shiva, In whose heart resides the supreme Lord who is the provider of
liberation from the cycles of birth and death and crest jewel of Kings, it is
definite to flourish with righteousness which has four legs, eventually the
sins, lust, anger and ego will be wiped out. The seasons will perform its duty
without any fail; consequently eternal peace and happiness exist.
Oh! Lord of
Universe, when the divine nectar like water has been brought from the story of
Supreme Lord using the tool of intellect and utilizing the poetries as its
canals and sub canals, the nectar like water running down through the paddy
fields of hearts, which undoubtedly provides rich crops. Then, why should I fear of famine?
