|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Sage Valmiki courteously spoke to Maharishi Narada who follows strict austerities and profound in the recitation of Veda and has deep knowledge of Veda and Vedantha.   “Oh! Rishe, kindly illustrate the following, who is prominent in the Universe and who is flawless with abundance of virtues? Who is valorous and capable to overpower enemies? Who is the knower of all the righteousness? Who is truthful and grateful at all circumstances? Who follows strict austerities and vows?  Who is the person strictly follows moralities, kind and merciful, prominent and capable to perform all the responsibilities and compassionate? Who has possessed all the loveliness to attract everyone’s heart? Who has perfect control over anger? Who has attractive limbs and physical stature? Who is egoless and jealous less? Who is dreadful even to the deities in the Warfield? I am too excited to know about that person who has possessed all those virtues.  Oh! Maharshe, you are well capable to explain about that person who has possessed all those virtues.”

Maharishi Narada who is thoroughly aware of all the happenings in the three worlds was become extremely happy and answered to Sage Valmiki “ Oh! Rishe, all those virtues you have mentioned are countless in numbers but uncommon to witness as well.  I shall think and find out a person who has possessed all those virtues.    I shall explain about the prince born in the clan of Ikshvaku, he is known as Rama, he is prominent among the clan, he has perfect control over senses,  he is fearless, he is valorous, he has supreme luster, he is firm and attractive, he is highly intellectual, he is righteous and skillful in the speech, he has all the auspiciousness, he is the destroyer of enemies, he has attractive shoulders, long arms, conch like neck and beautiful cheeks, he have broad chest, he is a mighty warrior, he has powerful shoulders, he is the annihilator of enemies, he has long stretched hands, he has attractive face and lustrous forehead and he has majestic gait.”
