Maharishi Narada continued “Rama has
attractive stature and limbs, he has the complexion of dark clouds, he is
respectful, he has attractive wide chest, he has beautiful wide eyes, he has
beautiful features and he has possessed all the auspiciousness. He is righteous and truthful, he is sincere
towards his people and work for their welfare, he is intelligent, he has
profound knowledge in all the subjects, he is unblemished, he is most beloved
of the distressed people, he is always willing to protect the people who are
dependent on him, he is equivalent to Lord Bhrama, Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi
dwells with him, he is capable to protect all his subjects, he is the destroyer
of enemies. He protects animals,
strictly follow the Varnashrama Dharmas and sincerely follow his Swadharma, he
is the protector of his own people too.
He is profound in four Vedas and six Vedangas, he is skillful in
Dhanurveda/usage of bow and arrow, he is profound in the quintessence of all
Shasthras, he is intellectual and insightful as well. He is desirable to the whole world, he is
compassionate and responsible, and he is surrounded by virtuous people like the
ocean is formed with the union of various sacred rivers like Sindhu. He is venerable, he is impartial to his
subjects, he is ever pleasing nature, he is the delight of Kausalya and he is
the storehouse of virtues. He is majestic
resembles to ocean, his power and fearlessness is equivalent to Mount Himalaya, he is valorous like Lord
Vishnu, he is lustrous like Lord Chandhra.
His anger resembles to colossal fire at the end of Yuga, his endurance
is equivalent to Goddess Earth, he is selfless like Lord Kubera, and his
truthfulness is like Dharmadeva. He is
valorous with various virtues, he sincerely work for the welfare of his subjects,
he is loved by everyone. Rama is the
elder son of King Dhasharatha and Kausalya, therefore King Dhasharatha desired
to perform the coronation ceremony of Rama, the crown prince for the welfare of
the people of his Kingdom.”
