Maharishi Narada continued “Rama was completely
distressed at the message of abduction of Janaki by Ravana, he felt miserable
at the sight of lifeless Jadayu, further he performed the final rite of Jadayu,
he continued search for Janaki in the dense forest. While moving through the woods they met a
dreadful demon Kabadha with vicious look.
Rama who has powerful arms killed Kabandha and performed his final rite,
eventually Kabandha attained the celestial abode, and on the way to the
celestial abode Kabandha requested Rama to meet Shabari who is righteous and
strictly follow austerities. Rama who
has the effulgence of Adithya and destroyer of enemies met Shabari at her
hermitage and she received Rama with utmost reverence and honor. Rama met Hanuman on the shores of River
Pampa, later Hanuman introduced Sugriva to Rama, eventually both of them agreed
for a peace treaty. Rama explained all
that incidents including the abduction of Seetha Devi to Sugriva, further the
monkey warrior Sugriva gladly agreed for a peace treaty before the sacred
fire. Sugriva warmheartedly explained his pathetic
life and enmity with Vali, the King of Kishkindha to Rama.”
