Skandha continues “ I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Ganga who is descended down to Earth from the feet of Upendhra, she initiated from the celestial abode with powerful water current like an elephant out of rut, she eradicates distress of the worshiper, she is the cause for the creation, preservation and destruction of the Universe and its living beings, she preserve the living beings, her powerful water current is held on the matted hair locks of Lord Shiva, she has enthusiastically settled in the matted hair locks and beautifully created her pathways on various directions, she destroys the Rina of the Rishis and righteous people who follows strict austerities, she symbolizes prosperity and provider of wealth to her worshiper, she has manifested as mote in sunbeam, she is fond of righteous people, she guides the people into the path of righteousness, she spreads righteousness and prosperity in the world, she is sole  nectar like water source to this Universe , she has possessed divine powers which remove the sinful nature in her worshiper, she is the symbol of prosperity and she is the provider of wealth to her worshiper, she has glorious myths and she has powerful water currents resembles to stream of lightning, she is enthusiastic as well as divine medicine and she is the provider of all those well being to her worshiper, a single drop of nectar from her lips would cure all the incurables, she has another form as Goddess Gauri and  Goddess Uma, she is Amba who originated from the sky, she is mesmerizing and she has the eyes resembles to lotus petal, she is Ambika who personified to remove the ignorance and liberates her worshiper from the repeated births, she has the luster of Adithya, she is decked in garland of halo, she is the mother of Shadanana who has six faces, she removes the darkness of ignorance in wicked people, she is the provider of auspiciousness, she desires for the well being of her worshiper, she has the fragrance of  the fresh alluring flowers of Kamalothpala, she is Kumudhavathi, she is Kamalini, she is lustrous, she is the provider of intelligence.”
