|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Skandha continues “Oh! Mune, whoever reads or listens to the sacred hymns of Goddess Ganga would be relieved from wickedness and greed, and their sins committed by thoughts, words and deeds would vanish instantly, moreover the worshiper would remain beloved to Pithrus, he/she would remain favorite  to all the deities and Rishis, ultimately they would travel on the celestial vehicle to  the abode of celestials, they will live a noble life in the heavenly abode with all kinds of riches like various precious ornaments, luxuries and sumptuous meal, they explore merrily through the pleasure gardens of deities and live extremely delightful.  Vipra/Bhramin who reads or listens to these sacred verses in the early hours of morning with strict austerities on the day of Shraddha would be relieved from Pithru Runa, Pithrus will be pleased  and the worshiper remain beloved to Pithrus, it would please their Pithrus  soaked in downpour, Pithrus will be highly pleased to receive Pindakarma on the sacred waters of Ganga and remain satisfied for an year, whoever worships the sacred text of Ganga in their home would be relieved from sins and fears and the home would remain purified at all times, Oh! Agasthye, kindly listen to me carefully, worshiper should follow their responsibilities without any disbelief, if there is any doubt there will be no fruit,  water consecrated with the sacred hymns of Ganga would be treated as Gangajal, whoever reads or listens to these sacred hymns praising Ganga would be relieved from repeated births and the worshiper will not have to undergo the sufferings in the womb, it is highly propitious to read these sacred hymns on daily basis, it would help the worshiper to dissolve in her sacred water instead of other places.   The above marvelous sacred hymns were retold as Mukthi Beejakshara/source of Liberation by Pinakina who is ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu.  These are sacred hymns praising the glories of Jahnavi, it is highly propitious and provides the merit of holy dip in the sacred waters of Ganga.”
