Sri Shuka concludes “ The above are  thousands of sacred hymns of Goddess Ganga was eulogized by Bhageeratha, it is highly propitious and it provides numerous meritorious rewards and success in all endeavors, whoever reads or listens to these thousands of sacred names of supreme Goddess Ganga with utmost faith and devotion would attain all kinds of prosperities and happiness in double fold, Goddess Ganga is capable to provide Sarvarththa/Dharma, Arththa, Kama and Moksha, she is Jaishta who is most celebrated, capable to eradicate ten types of severe sins and she is worshiped by Lord Sadashiva,  she has ascended down to Earth in order to wipe out miseries of the souls, and her thousands of sacred names are capable to provide happiness to the distressed people, and reciting or listening to thousands of sacred names of Goddess Ganga will provide her eternal presence in the houses of the worshiper for Samvathsara, whoever recites or listens to these sacred hymns during the auspicious occasions like festivals related to child, marriages, shraddha/performance of homage to ancestors, day of birth, etc.. worshiper would be relieved from Karma, ultimately attains liberation from repeated birth, worshiper who yearn for wealth would be blessed with abundance of wealth, unmarried would get appropriate companion, childless couples would attain virtuous off springs, and it is relevant to Chathurvarnna too /Brahmins, Kshathriya, Vaishya and Shudra, it is highly propitious to be recited on the day of Yugadhya/anniversary, Poornima, Ravisangrama, during hours of dusk, day of new moon in the month Pushya, propitious days of Lord Vishnu, day of Amavasya or any auspicious day , being in the group of wise and intellectuals, or in the sacred land of Vraja or in the sacred land of cattle, it should be read or listen from the Bhramin.  Goddess Ganga was highly pleased to Maharaja Bhageeratha, after listening to thousands of sacred of hymns, she was highly delighted to witness the devotion and dedication of Maharaja Bhageeratha’s severe penance, and eventually she offered various boons to King Bhageeratha.”



Devi speaks “ Oh! Bhoopala, I am appeared before you to offer boons, and you can ask for the boon you have desired.”


 Maharaja Bhageeratha speaks “ Oh! Vishnupadhi, who is descended down to Earth from the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu, kindly elevate all my ancestors into the celestial abode, Oh! Bhavathi, secondly, whoever recites or listens to your glorious thousands of sacred names should not be abandoned by you.”


Devi replied “  Oh! Maharajan, I will be widely known as Bhageerathi, Oh! Nrupa, whoever reads or listens to the above sacred hymns which was composed by you, would attain the state of Nirvana/renunciation, ultimately freed from the repeated births, Oh! Rajan, kindly venerate Lord Shiva to accommodate me and give me the highest of the status to dwell on his matted hair locks, otherwise I would remain powerless to descend down on Earth, because Prithvi is incapable to bear the powerful water current of mine that originates from the highest peaks of Mount Sumeru which is capable to penetrate millions of Bhramanda,”
