I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who is the son of Lord Surya and younger brother to Lord Yama, I shall prostrate before Lord Shanaishchara who was born to  Devi Cchaya and Lord Marthanda, and has the luster of lightning.



I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who was born in the celestial abode of Lord Surya, he is fond of recitation of numerous sacred names and hymns, he is the provider of boons to worshiper who venerates with sacred names and hymns, he eradicates all kinds of illness of the worshiper who recites sacred names and hymns, he dwells in the galaxy and worshiped by Navagraha, he eradicates the fears of Navagraha, he protects Veda, he is the King of Navagraha and he is fond of listening Navagraha Japa, he is lustrous among the Navagraha and provides auspiciousness and numerous boons to worshiper, he is the commander of Navagraha, he is causes eclipse of Navagraha, he is the Lord of Navagraha, he is decked in nine precious gems, he is Paramathma, he is Parabhramam, he is the source of propitious rewards, he destroys the fears of worshiper who are surrendered at his feet, he punished Pramaththasura/lustful, he has lustrous hands and crippled legs, he is lustrous and has great splendor, he is pure, he is the provider of children and grand children to the virtuous,  he is pleasing, he is the provider of all kinds of happiness, he is propitious, he is beloved to Prajapathi/Lord Bhrama, he is the provider of Kingdom to people who are surrendered at his lotus feet, he is the protector of Praja, living beings and creatures, he appears as Prana, he dwells as Prana in living beings, he always works for the welfare of Praja/subjects, he represents auspiciousness and tranquility, he protects the Praja and provides plentiful merits, he symbolizes auspiciousness and worshiped by pious, he is the source of Purusharththa such as Dharma, Arththa, Kama and Moksha to his worshiper.
