Neelanjana Samabhasam Raviputhram Yamagrajam | Cchaya Marthanda Sambhootham Tham Namami Shanaishcharam ||



I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who is the son of Lord Surya and younger brother to Lord Yama, I shall prostrate before Lord Shanaishchara who was born to  Devi Cchaya and Lord Marthanda, and has the luster of lightning.



I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who is the provider of well being to worshiper, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is supreme Lord who represents Parashakthi, he is Bhaskara who is pure, lustrous and serene, he is Prithvipathi/Lord of Earth, he symbolizes Prapancha, he destroys all kinds of evilness, he is worshiped by Parashurama, he had provided boons to Parashurama, he has provided the boon of immortality to Parashurama, he is Paramapavana/who is the purifier of souls, he represents Paramahamsa who is an ascetic of highest order, he is worshiped by Paramahamsa/supreme ascetics, he is the Lord of Panchanakshathra and he worshiped by Panchanakshathra, he is the protector of Prapancha, he is frightful to  wicked people, he is fond of offering boons to worshiper, he carries fruit on his hand, he is the provider of boons, he takes immense pleasure in bathing in fruit juices, he has provided various boons to Phalguna/Arjuna,  he pound the sins of his worshiper, he is worshiped by Phalguna, he is beloved of King of serpents, he has eyes resembles to fully blossomed lotus flower, he is beloved of Bali, he is fond of offerings in reddish brown color, he infiltrate Bhrama, Vishnu and Maheshwara too, he symbolizes trinities, he is not attainable even for Bhrama and Vishnu, he is decked in magnificent earring, he is praised by Shruthi, he is eulogized by Bhramin, he is beloved of Bhramin, he is valorous, he is Bhramam and he has various forms, he has the luster of sun in the early hours of dawn, he has colossal stature, he is capable to rip open the Bhramanda, he fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, he symbolizes Bhavya/auspiciousness and Bhoktha/who causes deluge at the end of Yuga, he has dreadful form, he is always keen to protect and provide boon to worshiper.
