I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Uma who
is the consort of Lord Shiva, she is Haimavathi who is the daughter of Mount
Himavan, she is Mahadevi who is supreme Goddess, she is Maheshvari who is the
consort of Lord Maheshvara, she is Aja who has no birth, she is Dhoomra who has
the complexion of smoke, she is Suroopa who is beautiful/wise with great
splendor, she is embodied as Universe and she symbolizes
auspiciciousness/Shivaa who is the consort of Lord Shiva, she is Bhagavathi and
Bhadra who is the provider of auspiciousness,
she represents Prakrithi and she is the cause of Universe and its living
beings, she is eternal, she is imperishable, she is difficult to perceive
through senses, she eradicates difficulties and miseries of the worshiper, she
is Svadha and Svaha, she is munificient and she
symbolizes prosperity, nectar of immortality, wealth, health, sleep,
etc.. she is Vishnumaya who is the essence of intellect and understanding etc..
she is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she symbolizes peace,
patience, awareness, sacred syllable Hreem, Smrithi/Veda and sacred scriptures, courage, desire, hunger, perplexity,
beauty, grace, compassion, etc..she is Bhavani who
represents Rajasic nature, she is Mridani who is the consort of Mrida/shiva who
represents Sathvik nature, she symbolizes perseverance, she is Rudrani who is
the consort of Rudra who has Thamasic nature, she represents death, she is
Sharvani who represents Thrigunas/Sathvik, Rajasic and Thamasic, she is beyond
the human intellect, she is Krishna who has dark complexion, she is Lakshmi who
is consort of Vishnu, she is embodied as divine cow Kamadhenu, she is
honorable, She is Dhakshayani who is the daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is
Sathi who is the consort of Lord Shiva, she is the mother of Lord Ganesha, she
is Durga and Parvathi as well, she is
supreme Bhramam, she has boisterous voice, she is Kooshmanda, she is the mother
of Lord Shanmugha, she is Kathyayani, Kalarathri, and Gauri as well, she is the
provider of all kinds of supernatural powers, she is Aparna who follows severe
austerities and penances without the consumption of leaves, she has various
forms as child, and young maiden, she
explore through the wilderness, her
glories are eulogized by Rishis and Sages, she have three eyes, she has
attained half of her consort, she is loveliest empress who dwells in the silver
peaks of Kailasa, all the deities bow
down before her lotus feet with their gem studded crown hence her lotus feet
has supreme radiance, she is eulogized by all the philosophies and scriptures,
she represents supreme knowledge and wisdom, she is Thripurasundari who is the
consort of Thripurari, she is personified as Kamala, Chinnamastha, Mathangi and
Bhuvaneshvari as well, she is Thara, Dhoomra, Kali, Bhairavi, Bagala as well,
she is unblemished, she is Sandhya, and
Savithri, she is the provider of all kinds of auspiciousness, she
represents Chandhass/metre, she is Savithri, and Gayathri, she represents
Shruthi and divine sounds, she rpresents fame, she is pure and supreme Goddess,
she is Usha who is divine personified, she is Maithri, Bhasvathi as well, she
has pleasant disposition/kind, joyful, she is Vibhavari/who has various
incarnations as moon, night, kind of metre, she bestows strength and power/Vajrini,
she enlightens her worshiper with supreme wisdom, she represents day and night,
rivers, Varuni/elixir of nectar,
courage, she is venerable, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan dwells
in the mountain peaks, she is Raudhra and Rama/gorgeous as well, she is Shyama
who has dark complexion, she represents Thamasic nature, she is decked in the
garland of skulls, she have vicious form, she entices the whole Universe with
her mesmerizing beauty, she is eulogized by Lord Bhrama, she is Mahakali , she
is the destroyer of demon Madhu Kaitabha, she dwells in the middle of divine
Chakra, her lotus feet are venerated by Lord Bhrama and Lord Adithya, she have
attractive bodily features, attractive lips and large and high raised bossom,
she symbolizes auspiciousness, she is personified as female force of Lord
Vishnu and Lord Shiva, she is the source of progeny, her eyes has the
resemblance to fire, she has beautiful appearances and attractive nose, long
plait of hairs, she represents all female deities, she is Chandi, she is
Mahishasuramardhini who is the destroyer of demon Mahisha, she is
Kaushiki/Durga, she have smokey eyes, she is the destroyer of demons Chanda and
Munda, Rakthabeeja, she crushed the pride of
demon Nishumbha, she is the destroyer of
demon Shumbha, she is Nandha who is personified in the sacred land of
Gokulam, she is the sister of Murari who is the slayer of demon Mura, she
dwells in the sacred peaks of Vindhya, she is Yogeeshvari who represents Yogic
practices, she is submissive to her passionate devotees, she have large and
high raised bosom, her teeth are soaked in blood, she is illustrious, she is
Rakthachamunda, she steals the heart and
intellect of the Vipra, she is Shakambari, she is the destroyer of
perils and miseries, she is graceful, she has giant form and she is extremely
valorous, she has assumed the form of fee and crushed the pride of sage
Bhringi, she is personified as Bhramani, Indhrani, Vaishnavi, Kaumari,
Varahi/Soookaranana, Maheshvari, Narasimhi, Chamundi, and she is Shivadhoothika
who has appointed Lord Shiva as her emissary, she is personified as Gauri,
Bhoomi, Adhithi/Devamatha, as well, she is compassionate, she is Renuka and
Ramajanani, she symbolizes pieties and prosperity, she is primordial, she is
Bharathi , she is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she is the
provider of various supernatural powers to worshiper, she is compassionate, she
is personified as Sarasvathi, Vajreshvari who has the radiance of lightning,
she is the destroyer of demon Vriththasura, she symbolizes wealth, she is
imperishable, she is wielded in Danda, Pasha, Shoolam, Gadvanga, Gadga, Chapa
and Bana/bow and arrow, and Musala, she is decked in vicious weapons, Angusha,
Shankha, and Chakra, she is ferocious, she has supreme effulgence, she is
supreme Goddess Narayani, she is the ultimate heaven for the worshiper, she is
Maheeshvari who is embodied as Earth, she has the resemblance to fire, she has
embodied as Vayu and sky as well, she resembles to lightning, she has the
briiliance of Surya, she is incomparable, she is the supreme Goddess in the
Universe, she is personified as Rathi,
Kameshvari, Radha, Kamakshi who fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, she
is the destroyer of Bandasura, she is highly confidential therefore not
perceivable through human senses, she is Thrayambika who have three eyes, she
is beloved of Lord Shambhu, she has attractive physical features with long and
thick beautiful hair locks, she has the beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower,
she is attired in majestic crimson colored garment, she have beautiful nose
resembles to the shape of til, attractive cheeks, eyebrows
and eyelashes, her beautiful smile is superior to the buds of jasmine,
she is adorned in magnificent earrings, she speaks wisely, she is the essence
of Shruthi, she have beautiful neck, she is decked in various precious
ornaments, her attractive limbs has the resemblance to stem of lotus, her soft
and supple hands are resembles to tender leaves, she have large and high raised
bosom, beautiful hair lines from the navel, and she has beautiful physical
features, she carries arrows of flowers, she talks pleasantly, she have
beautiful thighs and calves, she has the resemblance to swan, her lotus feet
are gorgeous and she has the gait of
elephant, she symbolizes courage and all art forms. She is Shuddha/pure, wise/Buddha,
incomparable/Nisthula, unchangeable/Nirvikara, truth/Sathya, Nithya/eternal,
free from bondages/Nishphala, sinless/Nishkalanka, intelligent, she is
liberated, she is deserved to be meditated, she is most intelligent, she is
devoid of properties, she is beyond human intellect, she is the essence of
Agama Shasthra, I have composed the above verses praising the splendor of Shailaputhri/daughter of mount Himavan,
whoever recites or listens to these verses would be relieved from extreme
fears, illnesses, enemies, all the perils and accidental death etc…
