personified as Kalika, she symbolizes Mahavidhya, it has been highly confidential in
all these years.”
Sri Devi speaks “ Oh! Vathsa, I shall
narrate to you about the splendor of Goddess Kalika which was not described or
seen earlier, it is highly propitious hymns that was not revealed yet. Goddess Kalika is the mother of the Universe
and its living beings, she eradicates the miseries and sorrows of the worshiper
and she obliterates intense peril and grief in the era of Kali. I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Kali to
protect me in front, I shall earnestly
pray to Kapalini who is decked in garlands made of skulls, to protect on the
back, I shall earnestly pray to Kulla to protect on south I shall earnestly
pray to Kurukulla to protect on the upper areas, I shall earnestly pray to
Virodhini/who protest against animosity to protect my head, I shall earnestly pray
to Viprachiththa who lures the intellect of Bhramin to protect my eyes, I shall
earnestly pray to Ugra to protect my nose, I shall earnestly pray to Ugraprabha
to protect my ears, I shall earnestly
pray to Dheeptha/splendid to protect my face, I shall earnestly pray to Neela
who has dark blue complexion to protect my cheeks, I shall earnestly pray to
Ghana to protect my neck, I shall earnestly pray to Balaka to protect my arms, I shall earnestly pray to Mathra to
protect my hands, I shall earnestly pray to Mudhra to protect my chest, I shall
earnestly pray to Mitha to protect my bosom, I shall earnestly pray to
Mandaladevatha to protect my Yoni, I shall earnestly pray to Bhrami to protect
my matted hair locks, I shall earnestly pray to Narayani to protect to my
navel, I shall earnestly pray to Maheshvari who is supreme Goddess of the
Universe to protect my thighs, I shall earnestly pray to Chamunda to protect my
reproductive organ, I shall earnestly pray to Kaumari /youthful to protect my
waist line and knees, I shall earnestly pray to Aparajitha/unconquerable to
protect my feet, I shall earnestly pray to Varahi/female force of Varaha to
profect fingers/toe, I shall earnestly pray to Narasimhi/female force of
Narasimha to protect my Sandhi/joints, let me remain protected by Devatha and
let me reamin well protectected with the sacred armor of Goddess Kalika, Oh!
Kalike, kindly protect me in south and upper areas of the sky, Oh! Devi Kalike, kindly protects us always
from wild animals and water, protect us
from all the dangers from south and all
the sides, whoever reads or listens to these sacred armor of Goddess Kalika on
daily basis would get relieved from all
obstacle, fears and anxiety.”
