Sri Kashi Vishwanatha Suprabhatham - II – Lyrics and meanings

I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to Lord Vishwanatha, who is nectar like ocean of mercy, he is adorned in crescent moon that spread cool rays, he is the provider of all the auspiciousness to his worshiper, he is eternal.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to Varanasipurapathi who is the Lord of sacred city of Varanasi, he is Sri Vishwanatha who carries majestic flag that has the symbol of celestial bull, he is worshiped by the whole Universe, he is the Lord of Lords who is the cause of creation, preservation and deluge at the end of Yuga, he is beyond description, his lotu feet are worshiped by illustrious Rishis and Sages.  I shall offer humble salutations to the Lord of the sacred city of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi, he is Sri Vishwanatha who is divine personified to eradicate the worldly existence of the worshiper, he is Gangadhara who is decked in sacred Ganga on matted hair locks, he is extremely charismatic, he is worshiped by Pramathaganas, he is adorned in King of serpent as ornaments, he eradicates the fears of the worshiper.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to Varanasipurapathi who is the Lord of sacred land of Varanasi, I shall always prostrate before the lotus feet of Lord Vishwanatha, I shall always recite the sacred Panchakshara in my heart, I shall always speak about your endless glories.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to Varanasipurapathi who is the Lord of sacred land of Varanasi, he is beloved of Ganga and Goddess Paravathi who is the daughter of Mount Himavan, he is serene, he is eulogized by Veda and Vedantha, he is the Lord of the Lords as well Lord of the Universe, he dwells in the highest mountain peaks, he is eternal, he is eulogized by sacred scriptures.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to Lord of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi, when the whole Universe and its living beings wrapped up by the darkness at the time of deluge, the supreme Lord shines with great effulgence.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to the Lord of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi, whose son eradicates all the obstacles of the worshiper/Vighnahartha, whose wife is always immersed in the charity of meals to the whole Universe/Annapoornna, he is Shiva who eradicates worldly bondages of the worshiper.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to the Lord of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi , I shall earnestly pray  on behalf of people who are  equivalent to unconscious child, not recited your glories or uttered or listen or speak or shed tears speaking about your endless myth.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to the Lord of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi who is Sreekanda, he symbolizes wealth, he is decked in venmous serpents as ornaments, he is Neelakanda who has bluish throat, he eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, he is smeared in sacred ashes all over the body.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to the Lord of Varanasi/Varanasipurapathi who is beloved of Sri Parvathi, he has five faces/Panchavakthra, he has bluish throat/Neelakanda, he is adorned in garlands of skulls, he is Sri Vishwanatha whose lotus feet are soft and supple.  I shall offer humble salutation in the early hours of dawn to sacred Ganga, whose powerful water current has the resemblance to milk which creates beautiful waves, she has originated for the purification of souls of passionate devotees, her lotus feet are worshiped by illustrious Rishis and Sages on daily basis, she is Ganga , she is  safest heaven to the worshiper who are surrendered to Lord Shiva.  I shall surrender to the lotus feet of  Lord Vishwanatha who is the Lord of Varanasi, he is eternal bliss, he dwells in the dense wood of bliss, he is the provider of happiness and he eradicates  miseries and sins of the worshiper.
