Sri Shadanana Ashtakam – Lyrics and meanings

I shall prostrate before Shadanana who is six faced, his lotus feet is  worshiped by all the deities, he resembles to nectar, he is Shadanana who has the luster of moon, he is extremely valorous and he is the source of delight of  Goddess Gauri.  I shall  prostrate before Shadanana who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, he functions according to his will, he is impartial even to the wicked, he destroyed Chandasura and Tharakasura, I shall prostrate before Shadanana who rides on the celestial vehicle peacock, he remains formless, numerous forms and thousands of forms, he is Parathpara who remains void of properities and with properities as well, he is Parathpara who is not perceivable and he is easily attainable to the virtuous,  I shall prostrate before Shadanana who imparted supreme knowledge to Lord Bhrama, he is wielded in directions, and he represents sky, he has the complexion of precious yellow metal, he has powerful hands resembles to precious yellow metal, he is Hiranya with golden virility, I shall prostrate before Shadanana who represents supreme ascetism, he inspires his worshiper to follow austerities, he immerses in severe penance, he is always youthful, he excels the beauty of Lord Kamadeva, he is the provider of wealth and happiness to worshiper, he is indifferent to richness,  I shall prostrate before Shadanana who is born in reeds, he has the effulgence of Sun in the early hours of dawn, he carries stick on his hand, he is personified as child, he is extremely valorous, he was taken care by six beautiful young maiden of Krithika, he is most powerful,  I shall prostrate before Vishakaha who is wielded in powerful spear/Shakthi on his hand, I shall prostrate before Shadanana who  is mightier like Lord Shiva, I shall prostrate before the commander of Ganas, I shall prostrate before Shadanana who is void of birth or aging,  I shall always prostrate before supreme Lord Shadanana who is the Lord of all the living beings, he is Kumara who is always youthful, he crushed the pride of Mount Krouncha and demon Tharaka, he is Karthikeya who was taken care by the young maidens of Krithika, he is  initiated from the fire, and he is  the son of sacred river Ganga, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord Shadana who is positioned on the mountain peaks.
