I shall meditate upon Skandha who has powerful shoulders, he is
six faced, he is the son of Goddess Sri Parvathi, he crushed the pride of Mount
Krauncha, he is the son of Lord Shiva,
he is the commander of army of deities/consort of Goddess Devasena as well. I shall meditate upon Skandha who is the son
of Lord Shiva, he killed the demon
Tharakasura, he is mounted on celestial vehicle peacock, he is wielded in
powerful weapon Shakthi/spear, I shall
meditae upon Skandha who is the son of Lord Shiva, he is beloved of
Vishveshwara, he is initiated from the sacred fire of Vishveshwara, he is charismatic, he
fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, he lures the heart of worshiper, I
shall meditate upon Skandha who is the son of Lord Shiva, he is Kumara who is
always youthful, he is always surrounded by illustrious Rishis and Sages, he is
not perceivable through senses, he is beyond human intellect, he is the dearest
darling of Goddess Valli, he represent Jagathyoni, I shall meditate upon
Skandha who is the son of Lord Shiva, he is the cause of preservation of the
Universe and deluge at the end of Yuga, he is the source of creation of
Universe and its living beings, he is primordial, he is beloved of his
passionate devotees, he is highly enthusiastic, I shall meditate upon Skandha
who is the son of Lord Shiva, he is Vishakha who is born under the
consetellation of Vishakha, he is the Lord of living beings, he resides as soul
in living beings, he is the son of young maiden of Krithika, he is attractive
child who has attractive matted hair locks,
above are the glorious verse of Skandhashatkam, whoever reads or listen
to the splendor of Lord Skandha would get all their desires fulfilled,
ultimately reside in the abode of Lord Skandha.
