I shall
prostrate before supreme Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is the controller of
Universe, she is epitome of beauty, she symbolizes sacred syllables of Akara
and Kshakara, I shall meditate upon supreme Goddess Mahalakshmi who symbolizes
auspiciousness, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, I shall worship
supreme Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi,
eulogizes her with various sacred names and specific gestures which are highly
auspicious, and I shall reverentially offer Haridhra Kumkum/turmeric and
vermilion, Oh! Devi, kindly accepts the same. I shall reverentially prostrate
before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Akara, Ukara, Makara, and Omkara, she is
beloved consort of Acchyutha, she symbolizes food grains, she is eternal, she
showers abundance of boons, she is immortal, she symbolizes nectar, she is
efficacious, she has eight glorious forms such as Primeval/Adhilakshmi,
Dhanalakshmi/wealth, Dhanyalakshmi/food grains, Gajalakshmi/elephant,
Santhanalakshmi/progeny, Veeralakshmi/valor, Vidhyalakshmi/knowledge, and
Vijayalakshmi/victory, she symbolizes terminology, she resides as soul in
living beings, she is primeval deity, she is supreme bliss, she symbolizes warmness, good health, desires, fearlessness, and night, she has personified as female force of
moon, she is most desirable, she is approachable for the virtuous people, she
is supreme Goddess, she symbolizes motive, purpose, and occupation, she is Uma
who has personified as Lakshmi, she represents energy, riddhi/perfection,

Universe and its living beings, she is the protector and guardian of Kingdom, she
