propitious hymns describes the splendor of supreme Lord Mahaganapathi, it is
recited to get relieved from miseries and sorrows.
I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Ganesha who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Omkaram, he has the luster of
camphor, he is absolute Bhramam who is beyond Thrigunas, he has great
effulgence and has most desirable form, he is surrounded by Yogeendras like
pack of honey bees, he is store house of virtues, he remains in the association of Lord Hara
and Indhra, he is Ganesha who symbolizes the sacred syllables Gam, he is
elephant faced Lord, I shall meditate upon Lord Ganesha who symbolizes Siddhi
and Buddhi, he is Vighnaraja who represents the sacred syllables of Vam, his long trunk has moved closely towards
the right hand, he symbolizes sacred syllables of Kram, he has fierce form that
destroys the enemies, he is seated under the Kalpavriksha, he represents the
sacred syllables Dham, he has long curved single tusk, he is worshiped by
illustrious Rishis, Sages and Kamadhenu, he represents sacred hymns , he is
inseparable from consorts Siddhi and Buddhi, I shall prostrate before Heramba
who is worshiped by the whole Universe, he symbolizes the sacred syllables of Shreem, he represents wealth and
opulence, he repreents the sacred
syllables of Thum, he is prominent, he
explores through the sky, he is all pervading,
he represents the syllables of Kleemkara, he is void of impurities, he is supreme bliss, he symbolizes Hreemkara,
he has golden complexion, he is meditated by illustrious Rishis and Sages, he
has large and beautiful trunk, I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha
who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Laumkaram, he is primordial, he
is the essence of Pranava and Vedic chants, he is pure, he is Vighnesha, he has
the luster of moon, he is perceivable to Yogis, he symbolizes the sacred
syllables of Dam, he eradicates the extreme fears and sufferings of worldly
existence, he has the radiance of thousands and millions of sun, he is
Yajjanatha who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Yam, he is meditated upon by
the illustrious Rishis and Sages, he is all pervading, I shall prostrate before
Lord Ganesha who symbolizes the sacred syllables of Hum, he has the complexion
of precious yellow metal, his virtues are eulogized by Shruthi, he has wide and
large ears resembles to the ears of elephant, he is extremely compassionate, I
shall meditate upon supreme Lord Ganesha who has the brilliance of Lord Surya,
he is adorned in serpent as sacred thread across the chest, he is worshiped
with fire sacrifices followed by sacred chants
Swaha, Hum, Phat etc.. he is the essence of the Universe and he is
eulogized by numerous sacred hymns, veneration of Lord Ganesha in a triangle
shaped dais after spreading sacred grass on the seat, offering
shatkapathram/six petaled flowers, lotus flowers, recitation of sacred hymns
etc..would provide abundance of piousness, he is well known for the
righteousness, he is the foremost deity in the shrine, he is worshiped by the
sages and Rishis with sacred chants, whoever reads or listens to the glorious
verses praising the splendor of Lord Ganesha with intense devotion and faith,
and offers Pushpam/flowers, Dhoopam/incense, Akshatha/unbroken rice covered in
turmeric, Naivedhyam/sweet pudding as offerings/Modhakam, and veneration
followed with music and melodious music on the
musical instruments, whoever meditate upon Vighnaraja would attain the
grace of Rudra as well, worshiper would be blessed with stately status followed
by numerous attendants, worshiper would be blessed with the permanent presence
of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, worshiper would be blessed with virtuous sons and
daughters, success in battle fields, success in debates, and valor.
