I shall reverentially prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha, who is the son of Goddess Gauri,  he is the remover of obstacles, whoever meditate upon him with intense faith and devotion would be blessed with long life, worshiper would get all their desires fulfilled and immense wealth, the glorious twelve names begins with Vakrathundam who has broken tusk, he is  Yekadhantham who has single curved tusk, he is Krishnapingaksha who has beautiful dark brown eyes, he is Gajavakthra who has elephant face, he is  Lambodharam who has pot sized belly, he is Vikata who has colossal body/great stature, he is Vighnaraja who removes the obstacle of the worshiper and creates impediments to people who are indifferent to him, he is Dhoomravarnna who has the luster of smoke, he is Phalachandhra who has lustrous forehead resembles to moon, he is Vinayaka who removes obstacles of the worshiper, he is Ganapathi who is the commander in chief of Ganas, he is Gajanana who is elephant faced Lord.


Whoever reads or listens to the glorious twelve names of supreme Lord Ganesha during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk, would be relieved from all kinds of obstacles, worshiper would attain all kinds of Siddhis with the grace of Lord Ganesha, Vidhyarthi/disciples who earn for supreme knowledge would attain wisdom, worshiper who yearn for wealth would be blessed with immense wealth, childless couple who yearn for offspring would attain virtuous offspring, righteous who yearn for the liberation from repeated births would attain Moksha.  Worshiper who recites or listens to the above verses for six months on regular basis would attain the fruit of it, whoever recites or listens to it for an year would definitely attain the desired results, worshiper who offer hand written verses of this propitious hymns to eight Bhramin would attain highest of the knowledge and receives perpetual blessings of Lord Ganesha.
