I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Shiva who is wielded in Mount Mandhara/Kalyanachala as powerful bow/Kodhandam
on arms, I shall meditate upon
Attalasundhara who devour the Universe and its living beings at the end of
Yuga, he has bluish throat filled with
toxic poison, he holds Kalagni/colossal fire, he crushed the pride of Yama, I
shall meditate upon Attalasundhara who is adorned in crescent moon on
reddish-brown matted hair locks, he symbolizes Lord of death, he is primordial,
he is beyond time, he is unblemished, I
shall meditate upon Attala Sundhara who
is worshiped by Kamalapathi/Lord Vishnu, he has allocated half of the
body to his beloved consort, he has most attractive limbs, he is ocean of
mercy, I shall meditate upon Attala Sundhara who eradicates evil effects of
Kali era, he along with Goddess Kamakshi resides in the dense wood of Kadamba,
he is most promising to Suras, I shall meditate upon Attala Sundhara who crushed
the pride of Kamadeva, he creates numerous Bhramanda with illusion, he protects
as well as destroys them at the end of
Yuga, he eradicates miseries and grief of passionate devotees, he eradicates
sins of ardent devotees, I shall meditate upon Attala Sundhara who is the cause
for the Universe and its living beings, he is the protector of illustrious clan
and the succession of the illustrious clan as well, I shall meditate upon
Attala Sundhara who is supreme bliss, above are the glorious verses praising
Shambhu as Attalasundhara is highly propitious, whoever reads or listens to it
would get their desires fulfilled, and
it provide abundance of wealth and happiness.
