Sri Ganga Sthuthi: – Lyrics and meanings

I shall reverentially prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who symbolizes auspiciousness, she provides all kinds  of auspiciousness to worshiper, she provides intense faith and devotion on Lord Shiva, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Goddess Ganga who represents female force of Lord Vishnu, Lord Bhrama and Lord Shiva/Vishnuroopini, Bhrammoorthi and Rudraroopini, she is Shankari, she represents all the female deities, she is supreme cure for the miseries and sorrows of the worldly existence, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga,who is the greatest cure for all the incurable and critical illnesses, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who eradicates overspreading poison in the whole Universe, she eradicates the toxic posion like worldly existence, she is life giving, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga, she eradicates three kinds of severest sorrows and grief of the living beings, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who is serene and pure, she is the provider of peace and virtuous offspring, she is the purifier of soul, she eradicates all the sins of the worshiper, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who symbolizes auspiciousness, she is the provider of Bhukthi/happiness and welfare,  and Mukthi/liberation from repeated births, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who symbolizes pleasure, she is the provider of abundance of pleasure and joy to the worshiper, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga, she has descended down from heaven, she is Mandhakini, she adorns the three world with her presence, she is Thripadha/Gayathri meter, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who is unblemished/pure, she symbolizes endurance/forgiving, she represents three types of fire, she has supreme radiance, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who symbolizes supreme bliss, she has embodied as Linga, her water course resembles to life giving nectar, she is one of essential elements in the Universe, she is also known as Revathi, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who has colossal form, she is the mother on Earth, she is the greatest companion of mother Earth, she is the provider of happiness and welfare, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who symbolizes piousness, she is adorned on the matted hair locks of Lord Shiva, she is Parapara, she guides us to safely cross the unfathomable ocean of worldly existence, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Ganga who eradicates worldly bondage and illusion of the worshiper, she is uninterrupted water course, she symbolizes serenity, she is most excellent, she showers abundance of boons, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess who is one of the essential elements on Earth, she is life giving, she is absolute Bhramam, she imparts the knowledge of Bhramam, she eradicates miseries and afflictions of the worshiper, she eradicates distress of the worshiper who are surrendered at her lotus feet, she is Jaganmatha, she eradicates all kinds of perils and afflictions of the worshiper, she symbolizes auspiciousness, she is worshiped by distressed and desolate people, she is the protector of people who are surrendered at her lotus feet, she eradicates worldly bondage, lust,  and intense desires  of the worshiper, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Goddess Narayani, she is sinless,  and unblemished, she eradicates miseries and sorrows, she is Parapara who is beyond human intellect, she is sacred river Ganga who provide renunciation/abandonment, Oh! Gange, kindly protect us from forefront and   back as well, Oh! Gange, kindly protect us from all the sides, Oh! Gange, kindly protect us all through the life, Oh! Shive, you are Moolaprakrithi, you are Paramathma, Oh! Shive who symbolizes auspiciousness, I shall repeatedly prostrate before you

The above are the glorious verses praising the splendor of supreme Goddess Ganga, whoever reads or listens to it would get rid of tenfold of their sins committed by deeds, words, and intellect, people who are afflicted with severe illnesses would get rid of the same, people who are tormented with misfortune, calamity, failure, destruction, death etc… would get relieved from the troubles, worshiper would be relieved from worldly bondage, extreme fears and anxieties etc…
