I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess
of city of Thripura, she is Shodashi who
has glorious form as Durga, one of the DhashaMahavidhya known as Kali,
Bagalamukhi, Chinnamastha, Bhuvaneshvari, Mathangi, Shodashi/Durga, Dhumavathi,
Thripurasundhari, Thara and Bhairavi, she is the mother of Universe and its
living beings, she is the essence of three Vedas, she has embodied as sacred
rivers, she symbolizes three Vedas, she is supremely gorgeous, she has
attractive appearance and pleasing disposition, she is most venerable, she is the essence of Samaveda, she is
supreme Goddess Sharadha, she symbolizes sounds, ocean, and sky, she is pure, her attractive limbs are
untainted, she is chaste wife of Lord Shiva, she always immerses in the
meditation up on Lord Shiva, she is beloved consort of Lord Shiva, she is inseparable female aspect of Lord Shambhu, she has personified as Shambhavi,
Saraswathi, and Mahalakshmi who emerged out of sea while churning the milky ocean for
nectar of immortality, she has great speed, she gets easily pleased with the
veneration and she is the provider of Siddhi, she is worshiped by pious, sages,
and righteous people, she is most
pleasing to Sadhus/mendicant, sages, and pious, she is the source of happiness
of Sadhus, she is wielded in Khadga and Khadvanga, she is extremely proud, she
is void of six types of impurities, she has perfect control over senses, she is
the source of pleasure to senses, she represents Shadvarga as well as
Shadanga/six senses and six limbs, and six folds, she has personified as young
sixteen year old girl, she represents fire sacrifices, she is worshiped with
fire sacrifices, she is worshiped by Lord Indhra with numerous fire sacrifices,
she represents sacred syllables of ‘Ka’ and ‘Aa’, she is most desirable, she has
various manifestations, she is formless too, she eradicates accidental or
unexpected deaths, illnesses and aging, she has very delicate limbs, she
represents greatest philosophies and auspiciousness, she guides us to cross the
unfathomable ocean of worldly existence, she has personified as child of three years, she symbolizes supreme
wisdom and knowledge, she has personified as Kali who has dreadful
appearance, she is Kameshi who is beloved consort of Lord Kameshvara, she has
personified as Cchaya, Samjjna, and Arundhathi, she is beyond perception, she
has great speed, she is highly enthusiastic, she has great belly, she has the luster
of clouds, she has personified as little girl, she is pure, she is the source
of supreme intellect, she is Gauri who has fair complexion, she is Vasundhara
who is mother Earth, she is highly confidential, she is served by Nandhikeshvara/Lord Krishna,
she destroyed demon Bhaga, she symbolizes good fortune, she is perceivable
through intense devotion and faith, she has personified as Devi Cchinnamastha,
and Mahadhoomra who has the luster of smoke, she is void of Dharma or
Karma, she is perceivable through
righteous deeds and performance of duties and responsibilities, she has
personified as Devi Seetha, and Mathangi, she symbolizes supreme intellect, she
is the slayer of demon Madhu, she has personified as Bhairavi, she is Bhuvana who symbolizes Universe, she is
the mother of Universe and its living beings, she is void of afflictions, she
represents sentiments, and prosperity,
she is supremely gorgeous, she has personified as Bhagalamukhi, Bala,
Thripurasundhari, Rohini, Revathi, and celestial
Apsara Ramba, she symbolizes deeds, she is most desirable, she is eulogized by
Ravana, she represents thirst, hunger, sorrow, infatuation, aging, and death, she is void of all those, she
symbolizes sathvik nature, she has showered abundance of boons to
Shathakrathu/Indhra, he has lustrous face resembles to hundreds of moon, she
has Soma, Surya and Agni as eyes, she is attired in the skin of leopard, she is
adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, she is highly enthusiastic, she
takes immense pleasure in the consumption of nectar and her eyes are soaked in
the elixir of nectar.
