|| Sri Pashupathi Sharanagathi Gadhyam ||

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Pashupathi, who is Universal monarch, he is the commander of thousands and millions of Bhramanda, he is mighty Lord Mahesha, he resides on the highest peak of silver mountain/Mount Kailash, he has most marvelous appearance and has the luster of full moon, he holds Parashu and antelope, other two hands are in Varadha and Abhayahastha posture respectively, he has pleasing disposition, he is seated on the Padmasanaposture, he is eulogized by Devaganas, he is attired in  skin of leopard, he is primordial deity, he is the cause of Universe and its living beings, he eradicates extreme fears and anxieties of worldly existence, he has glorious five faces known as Sadhyojatham,Vamadevam, Thathpurusham, Aghoram and Eshanam which represents  Earth, Water, Air, fire, and Ether respectively, he has Surya Chandhra and Agni as three eyes, he is Lord of Chandhra, he is adorned in crescent moon on reddish-matted hair locks, he is Lord of Earth, he is Lord of serpents, he is beloved consort of Devi Sathi, he eradicates miseries, sorrows and grief of passionate devotees, he is beloved consort of Goddess Girija, he has won over death, he is beyond era, he is fond of being eulogized by Samaganam, he is worshiped Pramadhagana and Bhoothagana as well, he is the safest heaven to worshiper who are surrendered at his lotus feet, he is the source of welfare and happiness, he is Lord of water, he is mounted on celestial bull as vehicle, he is adorned in magnificent ear ornaments, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is Shankara who symbolizes auspiciousness, he is beautifully adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, he is the cause for the mass destruction /deluge at the end of Yuga, he eradicates repeated births and illnesses of aging, sufferings and grief etc.. he is worshiped in the whole Universe, he is the Lord of Universe and its living beings, he is the cause for  Universe and its living beings, he is the source of Universe and its living beings, he is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he is worshiped by Virinchi/Lord Bhrama, and Lord Hari, he is the source of Siddhi/welfare, good fortune, wealth, prosperity, opulence etc.. he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he is Lord of living beings, he eradicates sins of the worshiper, he is Paresha who is beyond human intellect, he is attired in skin of elephant, he symbolizes welfare, good fortune, and auspiciousness, he is Mahadeva who is Lord of Lords, he is Lord of Universe, he is supreme bliss, he has glorious five faces, he is Lord of Ganas and Mountain, he is beloved consort of Goddess Bhavani, he has attractive reddish-brown matted hair locks, he is adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, he is omnipresent,  and omniscient,  he is Universal soul, he is indifferent, he has no specific form, he is the essence of Omkara, he has no birth, he is eternal, he represents fourth state of soul, he is wielded in Shoolam, he is serene, he eradicates illnesses that causes memory and intellect, he is the slayer of demons of Pura, he is extremely compassionate, he is beloved consort of Goddess Gauri, he is Lord of Kashi, he has embodied as Linga, he is the protector of living beings and source of offspring, he is the source of Dharma, Arththa, Kama, and Moksham, he has pleasing disposition, he is ocean of mercy, he is Shambhu who is Universal preceptor, he is benevolent, he is Lord of Yugas, he has won over death,  he is beyond Gunas, he is absolute Bhramam, he resides as soul in living beings, he is adorned Vasuki as ornament on the neck, he represents sacred scriptures, he is Lord of Yoga, he is formidable, he is adorned in sacred river Ganga on reddish-brown matted hair locks, he resides on the funeral grounds, he is Lord of Rama, he has Chandhra/moon, Arkka/sun and Vahni /fire as three eyes, he is beloved of Bhaskara/Bhanu, he is worshiped by Suras, he eradicates hellish tortures, he eradicates sufferings of poverty, he is presiding deity of twelve Jyothirlinga shrines/Somanatha, Mallikarjjunam, Mahakalam, Amaleshvaram, Bhaidyanatham, Beemashankaram, Ramesham, Nagesham, Vishvesham, Thrayambakam,  Kedaram, and Ghrishnesham, he is Lord of Lords, he is beloved consort of Goddess Parvathi, he has bluish throat, he has the radiance of sun in the hours of noon, he produces boisterous voices, he is adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, he has three eyes, adorned in serpents, he holds Asi, Shakthi, and Dandam, he has marvelous  four faces, he is Lord Pashupathi who is extremely valorous, he has numerous incarnations, he is fond of funeral ground and being with the spirits, he eradicates all kinds of obstacles, he is the source of all kinds of auspiciousness, wealth, prosperity, good fortune, opulence etc.. he is most benevolent to passionate devotees, he has numerous faces, arms, and feet, he is illustrious, he is alarming to spirits, he causes agitation on Shakini, he is supreme cure for all kinds of illnesses, he is the remover of all kinds of sins, he has Soma, Surya, Agni as three eyes, he is wielded on Vajra and Khadga, Yamadhandam/noose, Varuna, Rudrashoola, etc.. his tongue resembles colossal fire, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses,  he eradicates evil effects caused by the changes in the planetary positions, he destroys deadly serpents, he has dark  reddish- brown complexion,  he is closest companion of Lord Kubera, he has shaven head, he is wielded on powerful weapons known as Asthras, Humkara/ alarming boisterous voices, Danda, Khadga, Nairuthi, Varuna, Vajra, Pasha, Dhvaja, Gadha, Angusha, Thrishoola, Chakra, Padma, Eshana, Khedaga, Kshurika, Kangala, Picchika, Bhramasthra, Shakthyasthra, Gana, Siddha, Pilipicchasthra, Gandharva, Poorvasthra, Dhakshinasthra,Vamasthra, Pashchimasthra, Manthra, Shakini, Yogini, Mahadanda, Shivasthra, Eshanasthra, Purushasthra, Aghorasthra, Sadhyojathasthra, Hridhayasthra, Mahasthra, Garudasthra, Rakshasasthra, Vairagyasthra, Dhanavasthra, Narasimhasthra, Thvamshtrasthra, Mayasthra, Kamasthra, Bhaskarasthra, Chandrasthra, Vigneshvarasthra, etc… I shall repeatedly prostrate before the lotus feet of supreme Lord Pashupathi, Hail to supreme Lord Pashupathi!
