||Sri Ashtadhasha Mahashakthi Sharanagathi Gadhyam ||

I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Ashtadhasha Mahashakthi, who is omnipresent, she is the commander of thousands and millions of Bhramanda, she has personified as Ashtadhashamahashakthi/eighteen glorious forms, she has personified as Shankari in the city of Lanka, Kamakshi in the city of Kanchipuram, Jogulamba in Alampura, Bhramaramba in Srishailam, Sri Mahalakshmi in Kolhapur, Ekaveera in Mahur, Girijadevi in Odissa, Mahakali in Ujjain, Puruhoothika in Peethapur, Manikya in Dhakshavatika, Kamaroopa in Harikshethra, Madhaveshvari in Prayag, Vaishnavi/Jwalamukhi, Mangalagauri in Gaya, Vishalakshi in Varanasi,  and Saraswathi in Kashmir, she resides close to  river Krishna/ Pathalathalaganga, she is worshiped by Sage Agasthya and his chaste wife Lopamudhra, she resides on the river bank of Panchaganga, she dwells on the sacred land of Dhakshin Kashi, she is Mahamaya who is a great illusionist, she is Jagadhamba who is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she crushed the pride of demon Kolasura, she has eighteen powerful arms, she is mounted on celestial vehicle lion, she is wielded in powerful Shasthra/weapons invoked with the prayers and Asthra/weapons as well, she is adorned in exquisite ornament all over the body, she has the radiance of thousands and millions of Surya, she is compassionate, she is ocean of mercy, she is wielded in mace/Kaumodhaki and Khetaga, she is adorned in magnificent gem decorated crown, she is Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who symbolizes wealth, opulence, prosperity, richness, good and fortune, she resides in Karaveera, she is the source of Bhukthi/pleasure as well as Mukthi/liberation from repeated births, she has personified as daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she destroyed the grand Yajja of Dhakshaprajapathi, she has personified as Renuka who is chaste wife of Sage Jamadagni,  she is the mother Jamadagnya/Parashurama, she is most desirable to Mahakala, she resides in Pushkarakshethra, she has four powerful arms, she holds Beeja, Parashu, Kamala and Madhupathra, she is the mother of Universe, she has personified as Durga who is fierce, she is Viraja who resides in Virajakshethra, she is the slayer of demon Mahishasura, she has Surya, Chandhra and Agni as three eyes, she is wielded in trident, she is pure, she has merged out of milky ocean while churning for nectar of immortality, she dwells in the peak of Neelacha, she has personified as Kamakhya who symbolizes amorous sport, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, she is Kali who is fond of being worshiped with sacrifices, she symbolizes Yoni/reproductive organ, she is the slayer of demon Keshi, she dwells in the dense wood of Kadamba, she merrily explores through the dense woods, she dwells on the mountain peak of Vindhyachala, she is most beloved of Narayana, she is sister to Lord Vasudeva, she was born to Devi Yashodha, she is Uma who is the daughter of mount Himavan, she holds powerful sword, she is zealous and passionate, she is Bhagavathi who symbolizes auspiciousness, she is the protector of Universe, she holds the Universe in her womb, she is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she resides in the seven sacred lands famously known as  Mokshapuri and they are Ayodhya/Ramjanmabhoomi, Mathura/Krishnajanmabhoomi, Maya/Haridhwar, Kashi/Varanasi, Kanchi/Kanchipuram, Puri/Odissa,  and Dwarakavathi/Dwaraka that are  capable to yield Moksha/liberation from repeated births to worshiper, she resides on the sacred land of King of sacred rivers/Theertharaj/Prayag, she represents the sacred point where  river Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi confluences each other,  she has marvelous appearance with three set of matted hair locks, her face resembles colossal fire, she is attired in gem decorated garment, she is adorned in various precious yellow metal all over the body, she has personified as Mahakali who is wrathful, Annapoornna who is the source bountiful grains, Chandi who is fierce and passionate, Hingala, Vindhyavasini who resides on the highest peak of Vindhyachala, Mahalakshmi who symbolizes wealth and prosperity, Saraswathi who symbolizes wisdom and knowledge, Ambika who is the mother of Universe, she is inseparable from Lord Shiva, she is the source of abundance of grains, she removes ill fate and bad luck, she represents Manikarnnika, she is the source of virtuous offspring and grandchildren, she provides appropriate companion as wedded wife/husband, she is the source of welfare and happiness, she resides on the river bank of Ganga, she is the provider of liberation from repeated births, she represents Sharadha who is Goddess of supreme knowledge, she is profound in all Shasthras, she destroys all the enemies of the worshiper, she eradicates all kinds of illness of the worshiper, she is the source of all kinds of auspiciousness and richness, she symbolizes charm, grace, loveliness, and auspiciousness, she has personified Sathi who  is the daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is Bhramaramba who is beloved consort of Mallikarjuna in the sacred shrine Srishailam, she is Shankari who is beloved consort of Thrikoneshvara in the sacred shrine Lanka, she is Goddess Parvathi who is beloved consort of Lord Shiva, she is eulogized by Veda, she is the essence of Veda, she showered abundance of boons to Dhashanana/Ravana, she is Kamakshi who resides in the shrine of Kamakoti, she is Parambhramam, she is mounted on the magnificent throne which represents corpse of  Bhrama, Vishnu, Rudra, Eshvara, and Sadhashiva, she resides on the divine Srichakra, she is seated on the lotus flower, she is Yogini who undertakes extreme Yogic practices, she holds bow of sugarcane, Pasha, Angusha, Padma, Chakra, and parrot, she has the luster of thousands and millions of Chandhra, she is adorned in crescent moon on the crown,  her face has the loveliness of full moon, she is adorned in exquisite ornaments gem decorated crown, ear ornament, ear stud,  armlets, bangles, waist ornaments, and anklets which spread intense luster, she takes immense pleasure in the veneration of Linga, she resides in the Linga, she is inseparable from Linga, she remains in the embrace of Linga, she is epitome of beauty, she is Maheshvari who is beloved consort of Lord Maheshvara, she is ShivA who is beloved consort of Lord Shiva, she is supreme Goddess of the Universe, she is worshiped by Goddess Lakshmi and Vani, she has the loveliness of thousands and millions of Manmatha, she represents Shrinkhaladevi, and  Chamunda who is the slayers of demons Mahishasura, Chanda and Munda, she is Jogulamba who resides in the sacred land of  Dhakshinkashi which is  the meeting point of  river Thungabhadhra and Krishna, she is Shankari who is beloved consort of Lord Shankara, she is youthful always, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan, she is seated on the celestial bull, she is lotus born, she has embodied as sacred rivers, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper who are surrendered at her lotus feet, she is worshiped by Lord Bhrama, Vishnu and Indhra, she is supreme Goddess of the Universe, she is worshiped by illustrious Jambari Muni, she is supreme cure for the miseries and sorrows of worldly existence, she is the cause for creation, preservation and destruction of the Universe, she always works for the welfare of Universe and its living beings, she is the mother of Universe, she has marvelous appearance, she resides in the supreme abode of Mount Kailash, she has Ravi, Indhu and Vaishvanara as three eyes, she has the luster of autumn moon, she is void of illnesses followed with aging and death, she is serene, she is the protector of three worlds, she is the protector of living beings, she is worshiped by Devas and Asuras as well, she is the source of all kinds of auspiciousness, she is Kamakshi who is dearest darling of Kamari/who is the enemy of Kamadeva, she is youthful, she is the chaste wife of Kalakala who has won over death, she has most desirable appearance, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, she eradicates all the evilness caused by Bhootha, Pretha, Pishacha and Rakshasa, she is contented always, she is the daughter of Gireendhra/Mount Himavan, she is highly honorable, she is worshiped by illustrious Rishis and Sages, she is the source of excellence in speech, she has large and high bosom which causes slight bend towards forefront, she resembles to wish fulfilling creeper, she removes unexpected and untimely deaths, she is beloved consort of Thripurari, she has personified as little girl child, she is a great illusionist, she is Mahathripurasundhari who symbolizes the sacred syllables of kleemkara, Aimkara and Panchadhashakshara,  she is the mother of Lord Skandha and Lord Ganesha, she is Para who is beyond human intellect, she is the commander of three worlds, she entices the three worlds with her mesmerizing beauty, she is the source of all kinds of religious fervor, she is beloved consort of Lord Shiva who symbolize supreme bliss, her limbs are smeared in blood, she has attained half of the body of Lord Shankara, she has supreme radiance, she has personified as Srividhya, Parameshvari,  and Bhuvaneshvari, she is highly confidential, she symbolizes spirituous intoxicated drink, she is Kameshi who is beloved consort of Kameshvara, she has most attractive long and curly hair locks of rich fragrance, she symbolizes Manthra and Thanthra as well, she represents greatest philosophies, she is chaste wife of Lord Shiva, she is the source of renunciation and sense of abandonment , she represent all the female deities and Kundalini Shakthi,  she is eulogized by Kinkari Bhoothaganas,  she is contemplated upon by illustrious Yogis, she is the essence of Omkara, she symbolizes Panchapranava/five essential elements, she resides as soul in living beings and protects them, she has the radiance of sun in the early hours of dawn, she is Rajarajeshvari who is  unconquerable,  I shall repeatedly prostrate before the lotus feet of  supreme Goddess Ashtadhasha Mahashakthi, Hail to
