181 – Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Ramanama to get rid of Thapathraya
Sri
Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “ Oh! Sri Ramachandra, you are Dheenabandhu, there is
no deity as compassionate and kind as you, and there is no one distressed as
Tulsi as well. Oh! Prabho, I am that Kutila Shiromani/sinful, deceitful, wicked,
no one could stand equal to me. Oh! Prabho, I have committed sins by word,
mind, and action, Oh! Kripalu, you are the provider of Paramagathi to the sinner as
well. Oh! Prabho, I cannot forget one thing from my mind that you are the Lord
of Dheena Heena Jeeva, I am helpless orphaned Jeeva, you are the protector of
distressed and destitute. Oh! Prabho, I am tortured by the Thribidha Thapa/ 1) Adhidheivik
such as grief of natural calamities, epidemic, drought, famine, etc. 2)
Adhibhauthik such as grief caused by Ahamkara and Mamakara, attachment on
material matters, possession, fame, richness, possession, money, wealth, wife, children,
relatives, companions, etc. The separation from the beloved people and loss of
wealth and richness causes extreme agony. 3) Adhyathmik such as grief caused by
aging, illnesses, fear of death, etc. Oh! Prabho, you are the destroyer of
Thribidha Thapa of the devotees who have taken shelter in you. Oh! Prabho, you
are that Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the
Jeeva, you are the sole source of the functioning of mind, intellect, Ahamkara,
Chiththa, Karma, Gnanendhriyas, etc. hence, you are that Jeevathma as well, even
after all these, why don’t you shower your compassionate grace on me? Oh! Ram,
you are eternal bliss, /Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa, and destroyer of Thribidha
Thapa. Oh! Prabho, kindly shower your compassionate grace upon this Tulsi, and
protects me from the Thapathraya of Samsara.”
