Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, you are too compassionate to provide nectar like poetic skills to scholars and intellectuals,  that steals the splendor of the holy river Ganga settled on the matted hair locks of Lord Parameshwara who is enemy of Lord Manmatha.  Oh! Goddes Sri Kamakshi, consort of Lord Parameshwara who is the enemy of Thripurasura, you are the ocean of mercy whoever venerates you would be blessed with richness/shriyam, wisdom/Buddhi, intelligence, fame/Keerthi and virtuous offspring.   Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, prostration before your lotus feet would provide fame in three worlds, abundance of pieties and it eradicates all the sins of worshipper.  Whoever venerates you would be blessed with religious fervor, perpetual bliss and your eternal presence, you are the provider of ecstasy to the virtuous people, you have beautiful long hair locks resembles to pack of bees, you are indescribable, matchless beauty decked in crescent moon on crown, you are the perpetual delight to the eyes of Lord Pasupathi, you are unblemished, you are superior in the clan of Mount Himavan.   Oh! Kamanthaka Mahishi/consort of Lord Parameshwera who is the slayer of Lord Manmatha, Oh! Himagiripathake/pride of Mount Himavan, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is venerated by female deities, you are the personification of Srividhya/supreme Knowledge and amorous sport of Lord Manmatha, you are the provider of happiness, you have the luster of emerald, you are most desirable to Lord Shoolapani, I shall earnestly pray to remove the bundle of sins of mine.  Oh! I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells on the sacred river banks of Kamba in the city of Kanchi, she has large raised bosom, decked in crescent moon which shower nectar like cool rays, and she is the personification of auspiciousness and amorous sport of Lord Manmatha.  I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who shimmers on the auspicious sanctum of lap of Lord Parameshwara, to remove the darkness of ignorance in me.   She has the luster of emerald, her foot nails has the luster of Lord Chandra, it has constant touch with the crown of the deities prostrate before her, and she is the supreme Goddess dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi.  She reveals her eternal presence as an attractive stream of light on the river banks of Kamba, it provides immense bliss to the eyes of virtuous people.  This stream of light lures the heart of Lord Manmatha and it is superior to the beauty of cluster of clouds.   Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, daughter of Mount Himavan, Oh! Kambanadhi Sakhi, whoever venerates you would attain proficiency in poetic skills and remain prominent among the poets, like Lord Surya with its radiance obliges the Ambal flowers to shrink.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, you are the personification of the pieties of Lord Parameshwara, effulgence from your face has the resemblance to Lord Chandra of pournami, you are eulogized by Lord Indra and deities, you are the remover of grief and sorrows of virtuous people, you are the provider of intelligence and power of speech as well.  She originates from the glaciers of the highest of peak and she is visualized by the virtuous people, she is capable to remove the sufferings of the people instantly, whoever remember her glories, she is the ocean of mercy, she dwells on the river banks of Kamba and it is surprising to witness that she reveals various incarnations and her eternal presence.  She is the protector of the Universe and its living beings with her effulgence, she has attained half of the body of her consort Lord Parameshwara with her divine effulgence, and she is decked in the crescent moon on her crown, Mount Himalaya shine with glorious bluishness in the effulgence of Goddess Sri Kamakshi.  She has beautiful long eyes stretched up to ears, she has large raised bosom extended up to shoulders, and she has gorgeous face, she is adorned with beautiful crown and attractive jewels all over the body, she has the attractiveness that overpower the beauty of lotus flowers, she has melodious voice, she has beautiful gait that put the swan into shame, she is the personification of intelligence dwells on the sacred land of Kanchi.  Oh! Oh! Parameshwari, Oh! Sharvani/consort of Lord Shiva, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who has attractive, black, long and wide eyes, it has the resemblance to Neelothpala, sacred Veda and Upanishads in the custody of Lord Brahma becomes incompetent to describe the attractiveness of it and finds it difficult to describe the loveliness of it.   I have found immense bliss in the veneration of your magnificent lotus feet, eventually that made me to eulogize your glories.  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who has supreme radiance, has the luster of fresh alluring Thapiccha flower, she is the provider of richness and remover of darkness of ignorance in Samsara, she has attained half of the body of her consort Lord Shiva, she dwells in the river banks of Kampa and resides in the tongue of intellectuals and poets, she is the protector of the Universe.  The crescent moon on the matted hair locks of Lord Shiva obtained the crimson color due to the touch of your lotus feet, this crimson color appears as a mark on the forehead of Goddess Indrani as well and it flourishes the life of the virtuous who took refuge in Kanchi, I shall earnestly pray the dust particles of your lotus feet to protect me as well.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who dwells on the river banks of Kampa, You have won over the heart of Lord Parameshwara with your gorgeous smile that has the resemblance to the cool rays of crescent moon, you are the savior of the living beings and ocean of mercy, and you are eulogized by Rishis and Sages.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, the spectacular movement of your eyes reveals the proficiency in amorous sport, your lustrous smile removes the impurities in all directions, your attractive eyes remain matchless crown, and you are the essence of Veda and ocean of mercy dwell on the river banks of Kampa.  Your glance has immense power; it remains the cloud in the three worlds, it works as heavy clouds that causes the downpour of poetic skills in the intellectuals, it entice the heart of Lord Parameshwara, enemy of Lord Manmatha,  I shall earnestly pray to your glance to fulfill my desires as well.    Oh! Oh! Matha, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,  I shall earnestly pray  your glorious lotus feet that embellish the matted hair locks of Lord Pasupathi, dwells in the lotus like heart virtuous people, adorn the pinnacle of Veda and sacred scriptures and has the resemblance to lotus flower, to eradicate all our sorrows, grief, ego  and pride in the world of Samsara.   Oh! Shive/personification of auspiciousness, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Girisuthe, your lotus feet are venerated by all the female deities, they have long beautiful hair decked in alluring flowers, your lotus feet has the capabilities to fulfill the desires of your worshiper and remove their grief, you have the capacity to produce fresh attractive flowers in the Ashoka tree with the magical touch of your feet, therefore it has come to know as Surabhi/fragrant, divine cow, spring season.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your lotus feet are the savior from the impurities known as worldly desires of the heart of the devotees who are surrendered to it, even though they are so attractive and radiant to steal the heart of the worshipper.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who has beautiful gait, resides in the heart of virtuous people and capable to remove the darkness of ignorance with the radiance of your foot nails, I prostrate on your lotus feet which are soft and supple that has the resemblance to lotus flower rests on the matted hair lock of your consort.  Oh! Parvathasuthe/daughter of Mount Himavan, Oh! Janani, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Tripuraharavamakshi/consort of Lord Tripurari, your face has the resemblance of full moon and it is lustrous, I shall earnestly pray bee like my heart to stay close to your lotus feet which has the resemblance to lotus flower that is venerated by the virtuous people for several years with utmost devotion and faith.  Oh!
