Oh!
Matha, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I shall
earnestly pray your glorious lotus feet
that embellish the matted hair locks of Lord Pasupathi, dwells in the lotus
like heart virtuous people, adorn the pinnacle of Veda and sacred scriptures
and has the resemblance to lotus flower, to eradicate all our sorrows, grief,
ego and pride in the world of
Samsara. Oh! Shive/personification of
auspiciousness, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Girisuthe, your lotus feet are
venerated by all the female deities, they have long beautiful hair decked in
alluring flowers, your lotus feet has the capabilities to fulfill the desires
of your worshiper and remove their grief, you have the capacity to produce
fresh attractive flowers in the Ashoka tree with the magical touch of your feet,
therefore it has come to know as Surabhi/fragrant, divine cow, spring season. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your lotus feet are
the savior from the impurities known as worldly desires of the heart of the
devotees who are surrendered to it, even though they are so attractive and
radiant to steal the heart of the worshipper.
Oh! Janani, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,
I shall earnestly pray to capture parrot like my wandering mind which always indulge for worldly matters and eventually get exhausted,
kindly get hold of it with the
net of your mercy and lock it in nest like your lotus feet. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your lotus feet
which is the essence of Veda and sacred scriptures, has the qualities of divine
herbs that has the capacity to remove the wild fever like ignorance instantly
whoever memorize your glories, the virtuous will attain them after performing
severe austerities. Oh! Girisuthe, Oh!
Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who has beautiful gait, resides in the heart of virtuous
people and capable to remove the darkness of ignorance with the radiance of
your foot nails, I prostrate on your lotus feet which are soft and supple that
has the resemblance to lotus flower rests on the matted hair lock of your
consort. Oh! Parvathasuthe/daughter of
Mount Himavan, Oh! Janani, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh!
Tripuraharavamakshi/consort of Lord Tripurari, your face has the resemblance of
full moon and it is lustrous, I shall earnestly pray bee like my heart to stay
close to your lotus feet which has the resemblance to lotus flower that is
venerated by the virtuous people for several years with utmost devotion and
faith. Oh! Shive, Oh!
Shashishakalachooda Priyathame/ consort of Lord Chandrasekhara, Oh!
Girisuthe/daughter of Mount Himavan, who has superior gait of Airavatha,
virtuous people relentlessly strive for brining perfect control over the senses
which is like an untamed elephant to attain eternal wisdom. Oh! Matha, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,
prostration on your lotus feet provides admiration to the virtuous people, it
flourish the power of concentration, it provides auspiciousness, mental
strength and mellowness, it removes the worldly desires and bondage, therefore
whoever prostrate on your lotus feet would attain all the auspiciousness in
their life. Your lotus feet have the
luster of sunrays in the day break and fragrant, extend vividness in south direction;
they are capable to provide superior intelligence and refined poetic
skills. Oh!
Thuhinashailendhrathanaye/daughter of Mount Himavan, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,
I shall earnestly pray your glorious lotus feet remain victorious which was eulogized
by Lord Shiva, slayer of Lord Manmatha, during the battle with the demon
Tripurasura, I will not have the strength or wisdom to memorize your glorious
lotus feet at the time of leaving this world, therefore I shall earnestly pray
to remain your magnificent lotus feet in my heart always. Oh! Janani, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I shall eulogize your lotus feet which has
beautiful gait, unblemished, dwells in the heart of virtuous people, splendidly
described in Veda and Upanishad, provides happiness to the worshipper. Whoever recites the glorious verses that
eulogize the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the provider of eternal
happiness and wisdom, with utmost faith and devotion would remain honorable,
admirable with refined poetic skills, fulfills all worldly desires and ultimately they would remain blissful.
