humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is the ocean of mercy, she has marvelous
features like the saffron creepers, her splendor is beyond description, she dwells in the Kamakoti Peedam situated in the sacred land of Kanchi, she is the Karanapara
Chithroopa/she is the cause of the living being in the Universe. I
shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamaksi, who carries bow and
arrow made of fresh alluring flowers,/ Kodhanam, Pasam, Angusham, she has firm
and raised bosom, she is the provider and seed of eternal bliss from the cycles
of birth and death. Goddess Sri Kamakshi
who resides in the Kanchi, is attainable through various continuous austerities,
has the resemblance of Chinthamani, she
is Chithsudhadhara which provides serenity to my mind.
She has long beautiful hair locks and firm high raised bosom, her smile has the resemblance of attractive Kundha flower, she has the complexion of saffron, she is the daughter of the magnificent Mount Himavan who superior among the mountains, she is the personification of auspiciousness resides in the sacred land of Kanchi. She is the manifestation of preceptor, who imparts the knowledge of Pancharasasthra and she is most desirable to Lord Kameshwara. I shall surrender to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is Parathanthra, has raised bosom which has the resemblance to highest peak, her eyes has the resemblance to lotus flowers. She is the personification of Prakrithi and auspiciousness, resides in the middle of the sacred land of Kanchi, decorated in the magnificent jewels, she is the essence of Veda. I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells on the sacred river banks of Kampa, has the splendor which won over the heart of Lord Parameshwara, she has adorned the entire Universe. I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is primordial and ever youthful, she is the pinnacle of Veda and eternal bliss. I shall surrender to the Sri Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the consort of Lord Shiva/Gangadhara, dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, she has magnificent features with high raised bosom, she is the manifestation of Thanthri philosophy.
