|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
I shall bow down my head and prostrate before Lord Vinayaka who is
the son of Goddess Gauri, whoever worship Lord Ganesha with utmost devotion and
faith would be blessed with long life, wealth and all his/her desires would be
fulfilled. My initial salutation to Lord
Ganesha, who has curved trunk/Vakrathundam, secondly to Lord Ganesha as Eka
Dhantham/single tusk, thirdly to Lord Ganesha who has black colored
eyes/Krishnapingaksham, fourthly to Lord Ganesha who has the mouth of an
elephant/Gajavathram, fifth to Lord Ganesha who has pot belly/Lambodhara,
sixth to Lord Ganesha who has colossal form/Vikatam, seventh to Lord
Ganesha who is the destroyer of obstacles/Vignarajam, eighth to Lord Ganesha
who has the complexion of fumes/Dhoomravarnam, ninth to Lord Ganesha who is
decked in crescent moon on forehead/Phalachandram, tenthly to Lord Ganesha who
is superior among Ganas/Vinayaka, eleventh to Lord Ganesha who is supreme
among the Ganas and deities/Ganapathi, and twelfth to Lord Ganesha who has
the face of an elephant/Gajananam.
Whoever recites or listens to the glorious twelve names of Lord Ganesha during the three divisions of a
day would be freed from the fear of obstacles and all the desires would be
fulfilled, whoever desirous to attain knowledge would be blessed with abundance
of knowledge, whoever desirous to attain wealth would be blessed with abundance
of riches, whoever desirous to attain a virtuous offspring would be blessed
with an virtuous offspring, and whoever desirous to attain Moksha/liberation
from the repeated births would be blessed with salvation. It is definite that whoever recites or
listens to these glorious verses continuously for six months with utmost faith

year they would attain abundance of meritorious rewards. Whoever write the above glorious verses and present
to eight Brahmins would be blessed with supreme intelligence by the grace of
